Here you go Archie.

This was on Craigslist a couple of times, i ended up with it a few years ago.
As far as i know it was on a ranch in N. California for some time in its life. It was originally that kind of old school army green color, the darker green was added to the outside, with some nice over spray on the inside.
One day it went in for a clutch job, only to hang around until the shop went out of business. Before it got back to the owner the transmission went missing. So it sat around for a while, then went to a friend of original owner, sat around for a while, then i got it.
Luckily for me ClemsonCruiser let me know about a FJ25 transmission for sale a year or so earlier, so i had a answer for the missing tranny.

earliest around me is a 64' ... the kook thinks he's going to restore it at 80 years old... and in a wheelchair ... along with the other 40 cars he has on his property all wrecks

THANKS!! Yes this one is wow, soggy , sweet, super cool, and not for sale Indygbd . Besides the sorta bad paint job and a few missing pieces its in pretty good shape.

And something that looks like an intact rear sill! Nice 25! Is the spare wheel also present?

Yes rear sill is in pretty good shape, no spare, was lucky enough to get the 4 main wheels.

It was pretty much DOA when i got it. Besides missing tranny, the electrical was a bit messed up (lights, turn signals, gages....etc). It was converted to a electric fuel pump, that wasn't working. Tires were bad. Brakes didn't work. And no title.

I started with a general cleaning, lots of dirt and wasps nest, and some mouse houses. Then started cleaning up the rear end, got rid of tow hitch, found stock tail light brackets behind frankensteined aftermarket tail lights. Painted rear with something kind of close to the new outside color.

IMO, you can just drive this as is while fixing your 59 and even after that. Any issues in getting a title?
