Both beautiful vehicles, but it does remind me why I like the aesthetics of the 100 series. Side by side, the 100 series makes the 200 series look like a fat "big boned" girl
I was wondering if anyone was gonna notice that....
I have 4.88s and front and rear Harrops sitting at the shop. Just waiting for install. I ordered the tag after the gears and lockers but the ‘rona has slowed things down a bit and the tag came in first. I should get the install done by the end of the month though.

So...I’m dealing with a bit of a setback. My brand new (last summer) RV has a roof leak from poor workmanship and will likely be unavailable for this trip. So unless they are willing to total it and get me a fast replacement I will need other lodging options that will accept two dogs. Any suggestions? AirBNB looks like just boutique hotel rooms and they won’t allow dogs. Thought about renting an RV but it would be at least $1000 by the time all fees are added in. I might not have a choice though.
And due to my State closure right now they have me scheduled to bring it in May 11.
Which leads me to another question and what would you all suggest for max towing gvwr? I believe my 2007 is rated for 6500 but I prefer to not go that high and wanted to hear what others thought. I just spent six miserable work weeks in my R-Pod (3200lbs iirc) and it is way too small for long term living so I need to go up in size while still being able to safely tow with my LC. I have OME 864 rear springs for added info. Thanks.

Reach out to the Avon. They may have a room or rooms still available and they are very much dog-friendly. I know Lee @ga12r1 uses a really nice Jayco behind his with no issues. His trailer seems plenty big and is awfully nice.

Yeah, I have a “hybrid” Jayco. We really like it. The tents only take a few seconds to setup and they leave a lot of space for the living area. I think it’s around 4500lbs and my 4 speed with 4.88s handles it well. I’ve also towed to with an 06 on 33s and that worked really well too.

I find myself in the odd position of owning two off road trailers. The one I just bought from a mud member is plenty big for people and dogs. I am reassessing which one to keep/ sell but either way because of all that is happening no one is really buying anything. Therefore both will likely be in my garage for some time. You are more than welcome to use the big one for the event. Of course the problem is you would need to pick it and return it to Vegas which might be more of a pain than it's worth, but just a thought.
Sorry about your RV that has to be a huge stressor.

Brand new means repairs covered by warranty right? Why don't you ask for a loaner while they repair yours?
If that doesn't work there is a camper rental somewhere close by (out of Ouray or Montrose) that will deliver and pick up to Silverton- Stan or Chris may know the name.
