So do I. I don't think you can even get someone to fire up a lazer cutter for that price. :D

I'd fire that lazer cutter up for free...just let me in the shop! :hillbilly:

wow, that's a great set of skids.
3/16 is more than enough! I would never go 1/4 on full belly skids, what a waste of additional weight!

he's got the sides 'boxed' so it's not a flimsy flat sheet & it's bolted to the crss member so it's anchored very well. prices are nicely done too - considering how much a tcase would cost= cheap, cheap insurance.

Darren: How many rigs do you have actively running your skid plates? And have any experienced a problematic rise in operating engine or tranny temperature?

Our design was to specifically not have that happen.

We have 24 odd out there now, in the last few months, V8 with cats is the one which can generate the most heat under the floor.

The trick is, as Christo looks to have done with his, is not stop hot air getting out, so more cooling air can get in.

An option for the european mudders is an OEM plate or OEM accessory.
Available for UZJ/HDJ is a front steel plate weighing 18.5 kg, 3mm steel IIRC as pictured goes back to the rear of the lower arms.
Also a transmission/transfer plate is available for HDJ variants as drawing attached goes past the crossmember to protect the transfer as well.
There is also another OEM plate available for the transmission in Japans parts list as well. Will try to put up a pic and part numbers for the lot one day.

The tentative pricing is $465 for the belly plate

The belly plate replaces the factory cross member.

The intermediate plate is $215 and the front plate is $375.

So I am going to be selling this to :princess: as cheaper than replacing the cats and pipes when some 'should have been aborted' with a sawsall cuts them off and takes them (over $1500). This just happened to a Tundra at work in broad daylight in front of our building. Is the front and the intermediate enough to cover the cats fully or will I need the full set ;)? I will probably cable lock on the plate to further discourage. When are these going to be available? Thanks, Chris.

Christo, count me in.

Standing by.

Here are the photos of Slee Skid Plates under Rotitash's FJ-100 taken at Cadilllic Hill during the Rubithon Run two weeks ago.
Just like a slider, I spotted him to take the line and used his skid plate as a skateboard when there is no other ideal line to take. This product is a must!

Cheers,

sure thats not the TJM? I mean, it has the OEM fogs intergrated. Truck looks like its testing out those plates pretty well.

Cheers,

I would love to hear more about this trip. How did Rotitash's 100 hold up? Snook, did you take your 100 too? Give us some details; I love hearing about 100's on the Rubicon! :bounce: Start a new thread and give us the scoop!

Here is the complete system installed. We should have production versions of the front plate pretty soon. The intermediate and belly plate is in stock.

Very, very nice. So nice!

Too bad sales will be non-existant as 100-series can't really wheel on the tough trails (as so many experts on this forum say). I guess your sales will tell. If 100's can wheel you'll sell these.

Hmmmm......I wonder if you'll sell any? :D
