100 series rear bumper (2 Viewers)

I have the 4x4labs kit bumper and complained about it in my build thread. Not a great fit up overall, sorta sloppy, dimples going the wrong direction, and sticks out more than it should on the corners. For the 80? Hands down 4x4labs. For the 100? I dunno.

Those rear Dissent bumpers look really good. The ARB’s are my favorite though but seeing not-so good experience installing it on an LX470 is making me think twice.

This looks like SoFlo bumper. Search for them here on the mud. They are very attractively priced but not quite at par with some of the other offerings.
I would also check out Dobinson. They have a sale going on and their dual swingout bumper is also very competitively priced

Nice advice on the Dobinson. It is $1,400 right now after 15% off (tire carrier, dual swing out, etc). Not as nice as some other ones out there, but at $1,400 that is hard to turn down. Now, to figure out if my AHC can take it.....

$899? Any bumper that cheap is going to be made out of Chinese pot metal and old steel garbage cans, and is going to fit like a $10 suit.

You must have paid $2500 for your expo bumper that gets plenty of use in parking lots.

By the time you add on all the things you want on a rear bumper (reverse light cutouts, swingouts, recovery points, license plate mounts, etc...) that's a $2k+ bumper in bare metal.

Dissent, BIO or Slee.

I'm not afraid to admit my rear bumper sees more action at Costco than the Rubicon, however, it gets real old scraping that rear hitch on every other departure on easy/moderate trails. The rear hitch makes a great makeshift armor, but its reeeeal nice having that higher rear bumper and simply not dragging anything at all on the easy stuff.

Not to mention.... where am I going to put my obnoxiously loud maxtrax if not on a swingout?!

Of course I go off-road. Other people can have their 75k mile cars-n-coffee show queens. My LC loves dirt, that's the reason I have it.

I think the only good budget rear bumper options are the Dobinsons and 4x4 labs
