Anyone have dynamat or the like in their trucks and have this exhaust? I am just curious how much if any, this would help.

If anyone is looking to let go of their stock exhaust after upgrading, please let me know. In need of at least the stock muffler and the DS flex pipe.

Hopefully you get to drive another members truck that is equipped with the EMSPowered cat back exhaust system. I think you'll find that the sound is much more pleasant than the other options out there.

That's a loaded question as we have no idea of your mechanical abilities.
No special tools. 14 and 15mm Sockets, wd40 and a 14 and 15mm box end wrench. Easy.
Get a friend to help.
I installed my EMS cat back system last night. The design and construction of the system is top notch. The clamping system is also high quality. The most difficult part of the job, and it really wasn't that hard, was removing the exhaust at the flange connection. I used a sawszall and angle grinder to help move things along.
I'm pleased with the performance and the sound of the exhaust. I have DT headers, so adding this exhaust really felt as if it brought the engine to life. It's easy to see why when you put it next to the OEM exhaust. Overall I'm very happy and recommend this system. I see a mid-pipe purchase in the near future.

How long should the install take? I generally end up taking about double/triple what it takes most of you guys to do things 
*Update* Took me about 4hrs of actual work. 3hrs to remove the old system and 1hr to install the new one. For me the bolts came out easily b/c I sprayed everything down the night before w/ penetrating oil and then used a breaker bar. The difficult part was removing the old exhaust from the hangers. I'd recommend people get the exhaust hanger removal pliers that were recommended earlier in this thread. That would have probably saved me 2hrs in the removal. I tried to split the exhaust at the band clamp behind the muffler, but couldn't get it to separate, so I ended up using a sawzall on it.

taking the old setup off is the time consumer because of the age and rust and hard to break bolts. Thats why I used a sawzil on parts
Installing the new system is pretty easy and quick and only takes a couple of hours tops.
Having heavy duty offroad skid plates will make it a bit longer (Like Slee)
Lets sat when I go to install mine, I just cannot remove the bolts that connect the cats to the exhaust, do I just start cutting the bolts off? If this is the case, what type of bolts will I be using to connect the exhaust to the cat pipes?
Also, when trying to remove the cat pipe bolts, am I trying to loosen the nut or the bolt? Is the bolt connected/welded to the cat pipe?

After 10 years it seems like they're welded. I just took mine to a local garage and tipped a guy $5 to loosen all of the bolts for me. I sprayed down my bolts with PB Blaster twice to no avail. Even letting it sit for 2-3 days. I suggest either trying really hard to get them off, or just tipping a local mechanic to do it (it's not a big job whatsoever). It'll save you a hernia. After that everything is pretty much simple, everybody is saying how hard it was for them to get the hangers off, just spray some PB Blaster on those bad boys and they'll slide off without a hitch. I think I did a small "write up" on installing my DT pipes, they're pretty much the same install wise.
Are these gaskets for the flange from the back of the cat to the cat-back system?
If there is a flange gasket, I didn't get any with my kit - but I did get the clamps.
Unfortunately I pulled off the old exhaust, so I will have to re-install (need to tow something tomorrow). Maybe I will risk the exhaust leak.

I only received the clamps with the cat back. The copper gaskets came with the mid pipe. I guess they assume you will reuse whats there from the stock midpipe interface, Its really more of a plate
