@hotdiggitydamn is a standup vendor! He notified me immediately of the bracket error and offered to refund my payment instead of waiting for the replacement brackets. The brackets look awesome so no way I'm asking for a refund instead of getting them!

Ok guys long time coming but I have a batch of 20 kits available now for the 2003 plus model year. This is the kit for cruisers with both handles facing inwards. These kits have a few additional parts plus some more costly hardware. As such the price is $115. This includes everything but the rack which you will need to purchase separately (The Container Store 18”x 48” Wire Shelf, Part Number: 483010 for black). Below is a list of the first 11 people who have shown interest. After this first batch I’ll reach out to the next group of people. Hi everyone! Those first 9 of you who got the wrong brackets: The new brackets have all shipped between 1/10 and 1/13 (today) so you should all be seeing them soon. Again, my sincere apologies on a mistake I should have noticed. You should all have a prepaid and labeled return package to ship the old brackets back. I have no idea who the lady on the stamp is so please don’t judge. Unless she’s awesome then by all means please. lol

If the following are interested in the later year model brackets, please let me know as I have 11 kits left from this run. These are 03+ model years and/or 3rd row handles where one faces down and one faces inwards.

Hello everyone. Another update: Please note the first 9 of you who were sent replacement brackets I should have also sent replacement hardware. I sent 8mm hardware which is what is used on the 98-02 models. Because the 03-07 model years use two of the US passenger side brackets I should have sent 6mm hardware. So to recap I sent M8 x 60mm bolts for the US drivers side and it should have been M6 x 60mm bolts. Please see pictures below for clarification. I'll send replacements out to you as soon as USPS is open for the week. The hardware is already bagged and ready to go out. If you end up just buying your own hardware let me know and I'll refund you for your cost and time.

If you want to drill out the mounting location to accommodate the 8mm hardware that’s fine too if you feel like tackling that. I would use a step bit and tape over the brackets to avoid marring them. I would recommend 5/16 (8mm), 21/64 (8.4mm), or 11/32 (8.75mm) at the most. The 6mm hardware will allow for approx. 2mm of leveling on the drivers side and is what is already used on the passenger side.

Why different hardware between model years: The 6mm spec hole on the US drivers side is due to manufacturing minimums. A 8mm hole on the passenger side will not physically work and would require two spec parts that are otherwise identical. Feel free to reach out with any questions. ? before return of incorrect hardware: I assume that only the brackets get returned. I keep the original mounting hardware (screw, stand off's etc).

Mailman dropped mine off just as i was finishing my coffee this morning, so obviously that was a sign I needed to install them immediately. Super easy install and the fit is Fantastic. huge upgrade from the u bolts (only aesthetically, the u bolts work totally fine) would buy again in a heartbeat.

I’m submitting another order for the earlier year models this week. Probably 40 sets. It’s usually a 6 week turnaround which gives me time to machine the hardware. Those of you who publicly ask here or by PM/email are going on a interested/waiting list even if I can’t respond back individually.

I would imagine once this current 03-07 batch is gone and the next batch of 98-02 is gone most interested parties will have a set. If orders continue I’ll have to take a pause while I figure a way to scale the production of the machined parts and get a website/POS up and running. Right now doing everything manually is taking more time than I bargained for so I do apologize to you all. Thanks to everyone for the excuse to work in the garage! It’s been fun!
