Ok boys and girls I finally had a second to breath from “work” and was able to unpackaged all of the goodies @ToyotaMatt sent me for my 78’ 55 (manufacture date Nov. 77)!! This is the full package in terms of getting rid of this crappy Weber carb and going back to tried and true OEM carb/linkage. @ToyotaMatt was kind enough to let me snag the gas peddle I needed that has the hand throttle option. Looking forward to this poor mans cruise out here on these country roads. The plating is impeccable and best of all Matt put something out on the market that has not previously existed. Zero chance I could have pieced all of this together…probably ever. I think I have some bits and pieces to round up to make this 100% operational (fuel lines, choke cable, etc.) but man am I excited to get going on this project. I’ll post up again in a couple weeks when I get some wrenching time.
