I'm new to this app and obd diagnostics in general. I'm not getting anything on trans temps when I connect. Is there some way to add this function, or does my 2000 not have a temp transmitter?

I have a method one and method two for trans temp in torque pro app. Method two gives me results, one doesn't.

This is in a 98 and 04.

Using a wifi OBD-II reader connected to my head unit and the Torque free app gives me the trans temp in my 2000 LX. So it should work.

Details please. What HU? Did you install Torque onto the HU?

Thanks. As soon as my parts come in and I'm able to start the truck a again, I'll check it out.

Volsmart Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Car DVD Player in Dash Touch Screen with Navigation Car Stereo Bluetooth Double Din Head Unit RK3188 Quad Core Cortex A9 1.6Ghz 16GB internal Memory support Airplay https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FU4VNGK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_9YtOybT037DJZ

I wanted something that looked minimally aftermarket. I bought the bezel that fits around the 100 radio, but this unit is slightly larger than a double din, so I will have to trim that later. This is basically a tablet, so you just upload apps as you need. It has wifi hot spot, so I used wifi OBD-II instead of the bluetooth. Don't really have complains about it yet.

I have two HTC smartphones I use with the TorquePro app. Interestingly enough, the older of the two phones will not display a transmission temperature (either method) despite the fact each of the smartphones are running the same version of TorquePro and connect to the same OBDII adapter.
