Purchased these from Japan on Impex and installed them back in January. Someone hit my LX 470 and it is now being totaled out by insurance. I figured the globes are new enough to pull (less than 1500 miles on them) and pass along.
Asking 425 shipped in the US if you’re not in the Austin area.
Blew a front globe on my 03 LX, the other front looked to be weak so I went ahead and put 4 new ones on the truck.
The rears functioned fine, membranes still in tact. Would make a great backup option if one of yours were to fail and you don’t want to wait pay the dealer or a globe from Japan...
I ordered a set of AHC Accumulators/Globes for my 2004 Lexus LX470 AHC System. Unfortunately or Fortunately, however you want to look at it, I was not able to install them before my son totaled my LX470. Here are the part numbers I have

Hello,
Has anybody replaced the cylindrical accumulator part number 49147-60010 (front) on a LX570?
I own a 2011 with 200k on the clock. I replaced the ACH fluid and spherical accumulators on it to help with the harsh ride. It was improved, but still doesn’t feel like it should. I’ve read...

For those who may find this of interest, last week I decided to dissect an old globe.
The findings were as expected with a rubber separator between the nitrogen and the AHC fluid. I was surprised at the housing thickness, 1/2” at the base. In my case there was no visible wear on the rubber...

In short, I cleaned out the motor, reinstalled it, and...
Mud,
I recently removed the accumulators on my '99 LX to make room for Metal Tech Land Cruiser Sliders. The top bolts on the accumulator assemblies were damn near impossible to get to and even when I got the wrench on I may have gotten 1/16 of a turn on the bolt head. I ended up removing the...

Update 5/2019: See Post #5 below for resolution of this ordeal.
I've researched a few of the brake failure threads but this seems to warrant it's own as it is a specific sequence of events with a dealer service center leading to a potential failure.
I have been driving my new-to-me '04 LX 470...
