The plan is to either run 275/60/20 on the factory 20s or spring for some EvoCourse wheels and run 275/70/18 but I bought these 20s new and dont feel like selling them at a loss lol we’ll see. I hear the larger sidewall adds to comfort also so...

If you have the coin, a LRA aux gas tank would be a nice upgrade. I wish I added the 12.5 tank on mine during covid. 21inch rims are not my favorite, so tundra rims with some at tires would be a nice upgrade as well. I love the heritage bronze...

I got tired of the OEM cup holders (especially since I like to slide/extend the armrest forward, which covers the cup holders) and added one. I have an FZJ80 and this is a pretty popular mod for that generation. It takes some commitment as it's...

Forgot to mention that I added a Rigd Spare tire carrier for longer trips on the mainland and Fluid Film’d the undercarriage to keep corrosion at bay. New pads/rotors and hardware were also installed.

I've been quite but not inactive.... Truck is actually awaiting transport to Greece! We needed a summer car there since our 1997 Toyota Starlet 1.3 Primo is getting a little tight for my two sons as they are getting taller. Prado Diesel Land...

We wanted a GL450 years ago but we were expecting our second born and I wanted something I didnt have to worry about post warranty so we bought our 2016 GX460 new and its been a dream to own. Glad to finally realize this dream and see how the...

Beautiful. Love the color. I almost bought a GLS 550 six or seven years ago. Definitely will be on the list when it's time to replace my wife's car.

This isn't going to answer your question, but you should drive the X7 before you buy the GLS.

Update! GX is getting dropped off at the shipping company tomorrow! LX is here to stay. Was a tough decision but like many echoed in this thread... having a daily thats worry free (relatively) is tough to beat... Will document its life...

I saw a ranking of cars by depreciation the other day. BMW 5 and 7 series and the MB GLS don't fare too well. I used to drive MB's and loved them and I still miss my 2006 E320 CDI (40 mpg was really nice) but I will never have another one...

I sold my 07' Tundra when I moved up to my new to me 08' Salsa Red Landcruiser. Pouring through the 200 series forums on mud, I came across the thread by Brian Jowett about building his truck with Tundra components. So, I stripped the lift off...

I appreciate the info! Does the ride quality improve with the move to the wider track? or is the benefit only realized when dumping AHC?

This is probably the most comprehensive one on the forum. However, the others are worth read too. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/200-series-lift-using-tundra-front-ifs-and-icon-shocks.875255/

I dont know if there is a specific thread but its where you swap the tundra control arms, CV's and tie rod ends into the 200. The Tundra's arms are 1.5ish inches longer than the LX arms. It helps keep better angles on the suspension when running...

following along! New-ish to the LX-200 world of upgrades. Can I get a link to the "Tundra Swap" you're referring to?

I figured I would start a build thread since I recently bought my 2018 LX570 and am starting to accumulate parts. The truck is Nebula Grey Pearl which is where the name Lead Sled comes from, in addition to it being a very dense vehicle being...

alot of good tech in this thread. Looks like the first step in modding my 2017 LX570 is adding 275/60/20s to my factory 20s and going from there. So glad that theres space underneath for a full size spare. After going to 33s on our 2016 GX...

My 275 60 r20 (not light truck-it was euro spec I think, similar to passenger rated) seemed fine to me because I was technically able to run a reasonable tire pressure comparable to oem…so basically I had oem tire pressure (squishiness) with more...
