Hi There
Have a 1999 LC 100 with 175 K Miles on it.
Hear of Brake accumulator failing on the LC 100. How to test and do preventive maintenance ? Had our LC 200 accumulator fail and lost the brakes but was able to come to a safe stop.

Also I have an issue where the first press of the brake seems a bit lower pedal wise than the second one ?

Please advise.

Thank you

Jay

Where did you "hear" of the accumulator failing? I've had 100s for years and never had this happen or heard of anyone else who had one say theirs had this problem. Ditto for my LX570.

If you can pump up your brakes, you have air in the lines.

Or loose front wheel bearings pushing the pistons back into the bores as the rotor contacts them...

For starters this “sticky” 55 page thread.
