I've made a few purchases from JTO. I used to make an effort to support them since Joe used to be an LCML'er back in the day.
Then I bought my Weber from him. The web description (I also asked specifically over the phone) said that it was a 'complete kit' with nothing else needed. It bolted on and idled fine, but there was no provision for a throttle linkage. I emailed Joe, who told me I needed to spend another $100 on a cable linkage and new pedal assembly. I told him that I had been told specifically that my mechanical linkage would hook right up. He said he had a couple 64ish cruisers around and he'd get one of his mechanics to look it over and see what I needed to do.
2 weeks later, I emailed him back and he said he'd get his guy on it right away. Another 2 weeks later, and he said he'd contact Weber directly to try to find the right linkage arm I needed. One more week and I still had nothing and Joe stopped replying to my emails. I ended up cutting the stock arm at an angle, flipping it, and re-welding it where I needed it so it worked with the stock linkage. Thanks for nothing.

I contacted Joe to explain that I was very unhappy with the service and told him that I would just let it go as long as he agreed to change the description on the web page so that others might not fall into the same trap. He did.
A few months ago, I was checking out the website and noticed a typo in the tire section. The 38" (or something bigger than what I could possibly fit) tsl swampers were missing a digit in the price box, so the price rang up as $21 or something each. I promptly ordered 5

About an hour later, I got an email from Joe explaining the mistake and asking if I would still like to purchase them at the regular price. He sent me a free hat for catching the mistake.
I think his business grew so fast that he couldn't keep up all his promises. I may purchase parts from him again, but nothing big and certainly not anything that may require any after-the-sale customer service.
YMMV,
Eric
