Phil's sliders are great! At times though I wish I had the side protection that larger beefy and heavy sliders provide.

Are you still violating child labor laws during the production of these ;)

Does anyone make this style low profile set for a 60 series?

Reach out to me in a couple of weeks. We are getting ready to run some 80 & 100 rails and could easily do a couple 60 series.

Is there any sort of kick out at all to get your foot on it for roof rack access?

None, the way they mount does not support a kick out.

I'm starting to think my 62 needs to go on a diet, especially since I am thinking of adding a rear bumper. Roscoe is getting heavy, and since I don't wheel it hard, this could be a good weight-saving move!

I've been thinking about trying to make something like this. It seems to work well on most JKs and genright even makes an aluminum set. It seems like cool thing to try and if it doesn't work then I was just going to cut out the rocker and weld in a 2x6.

Go for it they work well on a 60 series. They have served us well over the years without damage. Currently making some for our Dodge Ram.
