Sliders and Skids recommendations

I would choose someone locally if possible otherwise any of the main fabricators will work fine.

The only caveat I would say is that not all sliders and skids are compatible so make sure you choose the pair that work together.

I didn’t bother reading anyone’s inputs because I’m certain no one mentioned WKOR sliders which is what I have. You should listen to me because I’ve had mine for over a year (garage shelf), installed about a month or approx 730 hours. NBD.

Kinda what crossed my mind. He could buy the 4xInnovations kit and a welder for what many of the other options run. He would have to figure out cat protection though.

A little over a hundred pounds. I think they list the weight of the sliders on the WKOR web page if you want the exact weight.

A lot. The stock ones weigh nothing compared to my sliders. 100 sounds light but I am getting older so there’s that.

I just put a set on my Xterra. They are quite a bit shorter than the ones on my ‘94 80. I didn’t weigh them but guessing how much they weighed from wrestling them around for installation, I would estimate that the ones for the XTerra are toward the lighter end and the 80s are in the middle of WKOR’s weight range.
