Landcruiser heaven, quality is great! Frank is a bit frustrating to deal with..... this was my first upholstery job a have a couple panels I’m not happy with due to my mistakes, I have been waiting months for replacement, with the same two weeks out answer every time I call..

Thanks, I wan't to use Frank for the match and quality, but share the same concerns as many others. Hopefully your issues will be resolved soon.

I am sure they will be, I feel frank is a very good guy, his downfall is importing can be tough and time consuming, and instead of being upfront he try’s to make people happy by saying 2 weeks out, which in the end makes people more frustrated..... if he just said it may take a few months from the get go, people may not be super excited, but would at least know what to expect!

So....when is the wits end turbo going in?

Awesome! Can't wait for you to get it installed. I have very much enjoyed your build and this just tops it off. Nicely done.

After much hesitation I finally pulled the trigger on an LRA auxiliary tank!!! I’ve been wanting one for a long time, and the future turbo/ possibility of pulling a small trailer in the future pushed me over the edge! Got the tank installed tonight, I’ll try to get it wired tomorrow or the next day

The build keeps getting better. Great job.

Fuel cell is an incredible upgrade! Managed a trip to Moab and back, 575 miles total, about 50 of that being trail mileage and still have well over a 1/4 tank in the main tank!! Pretty incredible to be able to hit a button and watch your tank fill while cruising up the street! A few pics of our trip!

Well it is finally turbo time!!!!! Thank you Joey from wits end! Here’s a few pics of the 80 before the turbo instal, since my last post I changed to SCS f5 wheels with 37 inch ko2s. I also removed the roof top tent and put it on a custom built off-road camper that has a fridge, sink, stove, outdoor shower and on demand hot water! So now I am in even more need for additional power, Tonight I removed a few things from the engine bay in preparation for the turbo arrival tomorrow! For any Colorado folks looking for a professional instal by a shop owner who is also a Landcruiser fanatic, check out my website and give me a call! Gunnisontireandauto.com

Can you tell how excited I am! My wife thinks I love my 80 more than her!

Well, the 80 always puts out, never had headaches.......yeah, I'm divorced :flipoff2:

Well I’m calling it a night! Need to install the down pipe, hook up the intake, and run some oil lines, on hold until some heat wrap shows up tomorrow for the down pipe! I have to say this is one of the most thought out and well designed aftermarket kits I have ever installed! The j-pipe is incredible, figment is perfect!

Well all I have left is to hook up the exhaust! And oil return hose! Unfortunately the clamps for down pipe and turbo flange for oil return were not in the box. But I’m still waiting on heat wrap anyhow and Joey is getting those couple parts out to me soon!! I have to say again this kit is incredible, not only is fitment great but the amount of oem parts Joey included in this kit to make the install smooth is awesome, the oem parts included don’t even pertain to the turbo in some cases, but Joey included them knowing as soon as you tampered with 20 year old rubber it would probably disintegrate!

Still waiting on a part from Joey, but managed to make a solution for washer fluid with dual batteries Napa reservoir, spaced bracket, relocated secondary pump, all pictured below, and yes the hood strut clears when closed!
