Hi Guys -

I need to get my new to me cruiser into my 7 foot garage opening for some wiring harness surgery... problem is, I think I need to create around 6 inches of clearance for that to be an option. I was thinking of deflating the 35x12.5R17 BFG KM2's to create said clearance but wondered if that's an option?

Dd you think I can achieve that much height reduction and, if so, what's a good minimum pressure? The truck would only need to roll in about 20 feet so not planning to drive far - also could re inflate once inside until done.

Thanks!

I've gone to 5 to squeak in garage

With sidewalls that big, I don't think there's a minimum, for what you're trying to do. Problem is, I don't think your sidewalls are 6 inches :meh:

Well, it’s in! Now for the wrenching...

I was going to suggest rachet straps on the axles to the frame if you still were over-height.

what size garage door? 7 foot is standard

Heck.... I used to run on the roads with 6psi during the summer at Silver Lake Dunes. No problem!
