Leaky Radiator, need to find one ...

I know its popular to stay OE.. or even Denso, but I decided to run a Morimoto all Aluminum radiator, and its been perfect for last few yrs. Lifetime warranty too. Nearly perfect fit.

Gas tank building excessive pressure & fuel smell. Dangerous for sure! Why does this happen?

This👆 I got as far as covering my fuel lines (feed +return) in the DEI reflective sleeves... which helped a little. Also attached a larger insulated shield to the Catalytic shield, to block more heat away from the fuel lines. The all seemed to help somewhat... but not completely. Reduced it...

How's your 100 Series Body Lift?

If looking for a steering shaft extension, this is another option... Got it from another thread around here. Seems like nearly 1/2 the price as the Aussie one, and it's in the US (San Diego) https://store.partsshopmax.com/shop/FRSBRZ/MultilinkSteering/SSE.html Contacted the shop recently and...

Questions on pulling 3rd member, rear Diff

Thanks... Yea I'll just try to support the axle so they dont sit on the seals. I have no issues w/ seals or bearings at the moment, and hoping to leave them alone this time.

Questions on pulling 3rd member, rear Diff

Hey guys... been searching but couldnt find specific answer to this... would like some input from those who have experience. Im planning to pull my 3rd member soon, ('04 LX, 280k miles) and I know the easy was is to pull the axles out about 6-8", so they are completely pulled out of the diff...

How many amps does the starter motor need (what AWG jumper cables?)

Yea, the Noco jump packs work great. Good idea to on keeping it topped off all the time, ready to go. No more turning cars around so the jumper cables can reach. ;)

Talk to me about 2nd batteries

Yes they do! Should be keeping it nice and cool there too. I chose not to go that route mainly because things already felt cluttered up front, and also didnt want to block more air than I already was... (winch, stacked coolers, etc)

LX470 '06 headlight upgrade! Glass/polycarb and LED or HID

To block off the Squirrel finders, just mix a small dab of JB Weld, and use the end of a stick (disposable wooden chopsticks work great)... Remove the HL assy, remove the bulb, and dab the holes in the projector with the sticks. Plugs up the holes easily. I did this to my stock LX...

Amsoil for Diff (front/rear) and transfer case

YES... the Amsoil Severe Gear oils are fine for the Diffs & T-case... And the Amsoil Synthetic ATF (Blue Cap) work great in the LX (5-spd) Trans. Been running this combo for over 10 yrs in my LX, and still runs and shifts perfect.

Talk to me about 2nd batteries

Im running a Redarc BCDC1240D... I wanted to have 40A charging capability... but most common chargers are the BCDC1225D (25A charging). They are Solar ready (MPPT controller built in)... just hook up a raw solar panel straight to it (In my case I use a BougeRV 100w Panel). Jump start is...

Talk to me about 2nd batteries

I initially started w/ the Ironman 40A DCDC charger... and their Jumpstart Solenoid. Until it caught fire. Long story short, the IM DCDC Charger worked fine, however their Jumpstart solenoid was a poor design. The mounting rivet on the base is at the same plane as the Hot lead (+) lug on it...
