Dear Toyota North America,
Despite the 250 series selling better than basically all years combined, indicating that America customers are in fact okay with a lighter duty platform, a small group of enthusiast on the internet think you wrong...
Nope, you posted this on the public forum. You can be mad that the answer isn’t what you want doesn’t change the reality. I’ve heard your arguments thousands of times. If it made financial sense they would. Please do contact Toyota I’m sure they...
Move on, thank you!
For the others, I will try contacting some people and if I have any success I will report back here.
Don’t buy into the nay sayers fellow enthusiasts, if Toyota can sell all of these models in Russia, Australia and the...
Just picked mine up this morning after having the bar installed at Southern Offroad in Atlanta. I added a few pics of the cuts needed to have it tucked up so high. This bar looks so right with this truck.
Not sure how many are out there yet but I just finished installing one for a buddy. It’s a great fit. Only a couple adjustments were needed to the supplied brackets. Thanks to Cruiser Outfitters.
Since I have some stock 24 GC550 OT coilovers sitting on the shelf, I guess I could slap them on the 250 to see what height they put the 250 at.
Then it should be pretty easy to tell how much increased height the 25 GX550 OT springs would give...
About as much as my wife will let me mod the LX right now. Titan-7 forged wheels T-AK2’s +35 reusing the factory Toyo AT III tires. Normally it’s on N height but jacked it to H2 for the pic.
Well a couple of weekends and week days of grinding, cutting & welding on the rig and we now are on 37's. Fabbed up some sliders and are a few steps closer to finishing up phase 1 of this build..
Phase 2 will include locker, regear
Phase 3...
I've done premature suspension replacements on 2 trucks and regretted my choices so I wanted to keep my 2025 OT+ relatively stock for a while before ripping stuff out. I couldn't stand the stock rake so I did the Peak Suspension 1.25 inch front...
My 80 has almost 300K on it. Been flogged since I’ve owned it. Never have cleaned any drains or serviced the sunroof in any way. Works flawlessly. It will now break tomorrow. But until then I disagree.
I went with the 1958 because the "premium" Toyota stuff just wasn't that premium, and I knew I'd probably go aftermarket for all the stuff anyway. The premium JBL stereo isn't good. The Toyota leather-quality isn't that great. etc.
Regarding...
Finally got around to installing this bumper from Goliath Offroad. It is their only option right now for the 80 series and this is with the Safari Bull Bar option.
Took about 8 weeks to get.
About $1800 with shipping, bare metal.
I ended up...
Long time lurker of these forums, I figured I'd contribute. I had these wheels leftover from my GX460/4Runner and didn't have the heart to cut them loose quite yet. I decided to bolt them up to my LCLC with the factory tires for the time being...
