I have an ARB on my 80. Living in SC Kansas, I have had several close calls with Deer, particularly in the fall. I am very comfortable having my ARB on the front, knowing it will minimize any damage to the front of my Cruiser the next time a deer zigs when I am slow to zag. Like you mentioned, I...
4WD Sport Utility magazine was kind of an upstart magazine compared to the old standards back in the 90s. A lot of good info provided. One of their regular writers was a guy named Phil Howell. He was always doing projects that were pretty practical for the weekend warrior. I subscribed from...
Seeing your picture of the Buffalo Boy Tram reminds me of a similar picture I have from that location. My picture looks over the first tram tower, down the valley. I captioned it, "A long way to town if you are in the mood for hookers and rye whiskey". Excellent photo you took, I need to hit...

I agree. Sunroofs and Factory roof racks have been an unwanted but already installed accessory on SUVs I have owned. I rarely utilize the sunroof and have never, ever had use of the roof rack. On occasion, I have been able to get the Toyota I wanted without these items.
I am going to wait a year or two. I think the “new” will be gone by then and ADMs should be pretty well over with. If I buy one, I might even do like I did with my current Cruiser. Find one coming off of a lease with low miles and buy it. This will be my last “new” 4x4 purchase due to age and...
