The reason you have heard in the past that suspension lifts are better that body lifts is because suspension lifts increase clearance under the belly of the truck while body lifts do not. However, larger tires increase ground clearance...

I always pack a little grease in the back of any seal with a spring in it to keep it from getting knocked out when driving the seal in.

I can attest there is a variant that is available new. I have one in a box that @AlbertoSD picked up for me. If needed Kurt, I can dig for it.

There is that very thin coil spring that encircles the back/inner side of the seal. That can get knocked off during the installation procedure. I did this once and had a slow leak that I just put up with for a while until I drained the diff one...

I think the only material difference could be the thickness of the flywheel from the ring gear to the frictional surface, but my gut feeling would be that it's the same. I can get a thickness measurement of my 3B)) flywheel tonight if that would...

I have 3B and 13BT (6-hole) flywheels here, so that's not an issue. I'm hoping the 13405-56040/13405-56041 has the same dimensions.

The 13B-T is 275mmx175mm. So in theory it will work well. They share the same flywheel ring gear ( 13453-56020/13453-56021) and bolts ( 90913-01015 ) so I'm quite optimistic. Thanks!

I'd just make a new hardline, then the stk soft line. Theres no difference in brake and clutch hard lines. Ni-cop line is easier to work. If you do use hardline and cut it to proper length you will need to double flare it.
