Hey everyone! Just letting all 90 Series owners know that I have now finalised the Plug-and-Play Keyless Remote Entry kits to suit 90 Series Prado's that came with factory central locking.
There are currently three versions of this kit, two are available for sale at the moment with the third version nearly finished pending prototype testing.
1. Australian Market Models (all production dates) - Available now on the Trail Teq Store
2. Global Market Models (E.g. JDM / Europe / UK / USA) Up to production dates 06/1999 - Available now on the Trail Teq Store
3. Global Market Models (E.g. JDM / Europe / UK / USA) Production dates 06/1999 onwards - Available approx. April 2026
For those familiar with our flagship 80 Series Kit, this 90 Series version works in exactly the same way.
- Plug and Play into existing body loom connectors in 5-10 minutes, using OEM connectors and custom wiring harnesses.
- No cutting wires, splicing, tampering with anything. 100% plug and play with the provided wiring harness.
- No coding required.
- Indicator Flashing on lock/unlock.
- Standard two-button remotes, or optional Flip Keys (read the Flip key tab on the product description for more info on those).
- Kits to suit all markets of 90 Series, whether it is an Australian delivered model, or a Global Market Model (E.g. Japan, USA, UK, Europe, etc).
For this weekend only, I'm also doing 10% off on these 90 Series kits. Just use the code PRADO90 at checkout.
Full details are in the product descriptions, but feel free to PM me / ask any questions you might have.
Pricing is a bit cheaper than the 80 Series kits too, as these 90 Series kits require less wiring and labour on my part!
Price starts at $175 AUD, up to $275 AUD + postage, depending on options.
The Australian Market kits are a bit cheaper as they require less wiring (thanks to Toyota Australia putting some of the wiring into the body wiring already).

And a big thank you to the few people who helped test the prototype kits. I'm not sure if they are on ih8mud or not, but thank you!
