Got my LabRak ready for install in the morning....

Thus far, I'm very satisfied with the rack. It came in separate pieces that require assembly but the great thing about that is that there's more ability to customize it the way you want.

I chose 10 load bars, which my be overkill but they're on there now. It was a bit tough getting everything lined up and fitted properly before tightening down the nuts, but so far, it seems worth the challenge.

It's quite heavy before I added the 40" Rigid Industries LED combo light, D3 lights for the rear, Hi Lift mount, awning mount, two axe/shovel mounts and a few quick tie down points. Can't wait to get it on tomorrow.

More to come.....

After driving ~5k from the east coast (NC) to the west coast, around the Eastern Sierras and Southern Utah, dropped it at Slee to let the Yodas take it to the next level.

Planned work: Slee rear bumper with tire carrier and ladder, Front Runner Roof Rack, Rear Heavy Springs and all critical fluid maintenance.

Does Slee have bumpers available now?

Finally up and set. Time to get the lights wired.

Supposedly coming in this week. That was part of my timing to be able to drop it for a couple weeks.

Installed my Akella 4x4 Siberian V8 cruiser cyclonic air cleaner and intake pipe This required customizing the PS Res. bracket and relocating the PS Res. behind the new air cleaner and in front of the AHC pump. (Thanks Yan!)

Once that was done I installed my Slee G31M DH Plat. battery kit (Thanks Cristo!) and a fresh DHP G31M battery behind the passenger side headlight. Later today I will wire up my IronMan 275A dual battery controller setup and run some 2/0 gauge cables from the new aux battery to the 250A Blue Sea fuse block I have mounted near the AHC pump.

Now I can finally finish my electrical work once and for all.

What's the benefits of that intake? Care to share how much it cost?

It keeps itself much cleaner and less filter clogging. Easy to clean too. Awesome mod. Glad to see it being done.

That you can do dual 31 batts in the front seems like yet another advantage for the cyclonic filter. I truly think there's a market if someone can put together a kit from overseas....

Agreed, this was the whole point of the project.

Finished wiring up the Iron Man 275A DBS woo woo.

Next up, mount and wire the dual battery Genius waterproof smart charger.

So a few weeks ago i gave my dad my LX to drive back a new boat we got. I headed down to the beach this weekend, and when i pulled into the driveway in his RX, there sits my LX with a brand new set of Duratracs and fully detailed.

I cannot believe the the smooth, quiet ride that comes out of a tread that aggressive. I loved my destination MTs, but could not warrant an MT anymore with only a handful a trips a year and the truck being the wife' DD.

Drove back almost 400 miles today with the goodyears. They are amazing. Great surprise birthday present too.

I believe i saw Sonk and 2000Uzj also appreciate how amazing dropping back down to an AT changes these trucks back to luxury off roaders.
