Howdy. I need some help/opinions on whether either the Victory 4x4 Strike bumper or the Ironman 4x4 Bumper will work/mate up with the E&E skids. I’ve recently purchased the EE skids but have yet to install on my ‘15 LX and I am looking to add a high clearance aftermarket bumper with a bull bar. These two 1.) fit the LX specifically and 2.) are running Black Friday specials that end today, 3.) aren’t horrible on weight. They both have their own pros and cons and if I were to lean one way over the other it would be towards the strike based on looks and the parking sensor holes coming predrilled, but the price on that Ironman with the winch is really hard to pass up. I need a winch, too :)

Thoughts on how these two bumpers might mate up, or anyone on here already have one of these bumpers installed with the EE skids? Thanks, y’all!

PS. I already pm’d turbo but he recommended I check this thread :)

I had this post about the Ironman bumper. I think I looked into it and didn't really see any issues.

Thanks for some reason my filter on this thread didn’t find the Ironman post, I must have fat fingered it. Appreciate the followup!
Looking at the Victory bumper, the power steering cooler guard(PSCG) looks like it wouldn't be necessary. The front skid might require a little trimming where the PSCG mounts.

After shipping ($450), the Victory 4x4 LX bull bar bumper + some 3rd party winch is going to cost me twice the amount of the Ironman, which happens to also come with a free 12k Ironman winch. So that, along with the feedback here was enough to convince me to go ahead and take advantage of Ironman’s last day of Black Friday sale. I’ll have to wait until Feb for the winch as it’s back ordered, though. Thanks to all who provided info and pics!

No brainer!

Another successful install. Everything lined up perfectly. My dumbass rounded out one of the last hex heads so looking forward to getting that out later. Also not looking forward to retorquing everything back down. Awesome system!

Really like seeing these! Which bolt did you mess up?

Just one of the small ones. My arms were tired and had my torque wrench at a slight angle.

I’ve installed a few skid plates on different platforms and this one is for sure the most well thought out beautiful solution. Took me 3hrs to fully get it on. And that’s because I forgot to torque down the cat shields until every was installed lol.

Well done!

This is exactly how I did my plate for the oil. Was doing the whole line up of cars and went to fast and at a bad angle. Doh!

It really is a remarkably built system.

Cautionary tail from Moab, do recheck the bolts like @turbo8 recommends 🥴

I did not. Was missing 5-6 in total. Thankfully the ace hardware here in Moab had metric hardware.
