Ooof, didn’t know that. Should I return and get a standard battery?
Probably. I have a yellow top on year three and it’s failing. I installed a diode to force higher charge voltage, but it never really worked well. Had to buy a maintenance charger, had to remember to hook it up every few months, etc
Also you can save $150.

What are the correct part numbers for front and rear pads/rotors? It looks like there are two different sets of part numbers on the Toyota dealer parts website.

What year LandCruiser 200 do you have?

When checking power steering fluid level should the wheels be straight or does it not matter? Car is parked full lock and wanted to check it since felt heavy and below the low line by a bit

Wheels should be straight. You can warm the car up for a few minutes before you check it but it shouldn’t matter too much.

Turning the wheels from full lock to full lock while the engine is running is an easy way to push more power steering fluid into the reservoir for a quick refresh of fluid. Using a turkey baster to pull that fluid out of the reservoir and replace with new.

Lx570: pretty sure I know the answer, but is it confirmed that I will need to pull apart my wood trim to fix the broken and floating ECT button? I will need to look at some schematics but haven’t seen anyone on mud have to fix this yet…. Not sure what the heck the PO (wifey) dropped on it hard enough for it to have gotten bashed down.

gotta pull the leather on either side of the center console, then yank cup holder out, and pull the ash tray assembly out, then pry the console up and out

Wheel Question : I went to take a quote for ceramic coating, the guys offered to coat wheels as well for some protection , I don't expect the wheel protection would do much however the point he made was before the wheels are coated with ceramic , wheels needs to be balanced ,mounted , because the weights not stick if ceramic coated already while balancing
another shop said not required , I am not sure who is right , and if any one had gone through same situation , my wheels are brand new and in box.

Not sure about the Ceramic Coating, but I know a new wheel I bought, in box and all, when balanced and everything, the weights fell off about 2 weeks later. I know this because it was in my truck, and so the weights were just sitting on the floor. So im guessing something has to be wiped down/off/from new wheels

I can totally believe that stick-on weights will fall off a ceramic coating. I did a DIY ceramic job on a friend's GMC pickup a couple of years ago, then he had the dealer put on a set of those stick-on window visors (which were just Weathertechs) and both front ones flew off on the highway the next day. He went back and they put another set on, and they also flew off. I had to super-clean the window frames with ISA (isopropyl alcohol) and polish, then we used that super-sticky 3M tape, with some gaffer's tape on the front edge, and they seem to be staying on now.

So it's possible to get the coating cleaned off and maybe scuff them with a Scotchbrite pad to get them to stick.

I am wiring some fog lights. What is the easiest way to run my switch wires from the engine bay to this switch panel? I am sure someone has posted a guide on the forums here but the search function is not my friend today.

I have an ‘08 lx. The manual say to initialize the tire pressure warning to new pressure levels, I should use the tire reset button under the steering column. But I don’t have this button; just the gas cover and hood release. Is there another process to initialize for models without the reset button? I must have the wrong manual for my car.
