Considering selling my 1998 100 Series, we’ve owned it since 2000 and it’s still running strong at 330k mi.. It’s had all the reg maintenance plus I did 2500- of preemptive work two years ago. No wrecks, just 330k of regular wear. Has OME shocks w/rear springs and OEM torsion bars. Also has the optional rear locker. Guesstimates ? Thank You

It looks like the Craigslist post has expired, but it’s also posted on OfferUp. Owner has been trying to sell it for *months* and originally priced it at $13k, from what I can find. I checked it out and it has its share of issues: dirty interior, one missing third-row seat, odd coolant sludge in the engine bay, unclear timing belt history. I didn’t inspect it too closely as I just didn’t get a good vibe buying for my needs (it’s more of a project than I’m looking for)...

2003 Lexus LX470 with 242K miles
The original owner of this truck was my machine design professor at Cal Poly Pomona. When he first drove it to school and showed it off to the class I told him that some day he’d want to sell it and to call me first. He was meticulous about record keeping and turned it over with a binder full of maintenance and repair history.
In 2011 the truck moved from SoCal to Las Vegas and in 2016 it moved from Las Vegas to Bend. It’s been away from the ocean it’s whole life, in dry climates, and they don’t salt the roads in Oregon so it’s pretty clean underneath and no signs of rust anywhere on the body. Its spent it’s whole life as a grocery getter, so there was never any reason for us to modify it.

Helping a friend sell an 04 LX470. Currently asking $18,000. This vehicle spent the first 10 years of its life in Florida and has been in Seattle with its current owner for 6 years. The interior is in excellent condition and the exterior is in good condition with no body or frame rust. It is mechanically sound and the engine purrs like a kitten. It has a clean title and numerous service records available in its CarFax report, which I can send upon request. AHC is in perfect working order.

253K miles with a number of pros and cons. It will need some amount of work, but it has great bones (it's a Land Cruiser!). I haven't driven it in more than a year, other than a mile or so here and there to see if it still runs. It's a well-loved vehicle that we bought new in 1999, and I would love for someone else to continue driving it. The sentimental value of keeping it in the driveway no longer outweighs the practical value of selling it.
