1998 Landcruiser 206,000 miles with rear locker. I bought this a couple months ago in Delaware from an IH8mudder with the intention of lifting it and making it more of an overland vehicle. My wife has been driving it and likes it so asked me to find a newer LC or LX and then keep it stock. I now have a replacement so I'm posting.

After having only one maybe two serious inquiries from this forum, I guess I have it over priced or most people just hate Sonora Gold. Either way, my intention is to sell it by spring to purchase another 200 series for the extra tow rating. I recently purchased a new boat which is around 5,000 lbs with gear and fuel. Current issues:
ABS, VSC, and Brake lights are on. I don't know why as it drives like normal.
Has a water leak somewhere in the rain. I've tried to caulk some areas with no success. Drips down the inside of each A-pillar onto floor in heavy rain.
rear tailgate and bumper have a dent in them.
sunroof is sealed shut - can easily be undone.
As for the rest of it, it has some body rust on the leading edge of each rear wheel well some around the windshield frame...

After much deliberation, I’ve decided it is time to sell my 1999 Land Cruiser. I purchased it 5 years ago with the idea of doing a mild build. I’m 59 and raising my girlfriends 3 grandchildren (ages 8-13) and I find I don’t have the time or energy to put into the project (nor the funds to have someone else do the work for me). Meticulously maintained. Fully synthetic LOF every 5000-7500 miles. Fluids changed in fr & rr diffs, xfer case and trans every 30k miles. Timing belt and water pump changed at 90k and 180k miles. Only Genuine Toyota parts used for routine maintenance and all repairs.

I am finially parting with my dear beloved landcruiser of 18 years. LC has 304600 miles and has been babied for its life that I owned it. Normal wear for a LC this old but strong as an ox. I have used amsoil in transmission, differentials, transfercase, and engine from the day I took ownership at 69K miles. Items replaced since i took ownership - Radiator and hoses, starter, coil packs upper and lower control arms and the rod ends (Moog problem solver products), tires (Michelin defenders) still have 85-90% life on them, water pump, timing belt, idler pulleys, serpentine belt, fan clutch, alternator, battery, one fuel injector, muffler, brakes (bosch). The engine starts up and runs as it should. I change the oil every 3,000 miles and haven't noticed any oil usage between oil changes.
