200-Series - Need tougher material for my cargo area carpet (5 Viewers)

Hey guys, I am in construction so I'm always hauling random BS, including chemicals, in the cargo area of my 2016. I've destroyed my black carpet even with my rubber cargo mat in place. Has anyone done an OEM+ type upgrade to this area with tougher carpet or similar? Sound deadening is good as is. Don't want a vinyl or rigid material with all the tailgating going on.

If you’ve already roughed up your OEM all weather mat, the only other mats I know of are from either husky or weather tech.

No, I've destroyed the OEM carpet under my mat. Looking for a replacement "carpet" product that is a bit tougher than stock.

I suggest looking at indoor/outdoor carpeting at a home center. There are some really tough ones available and you could custom cut. After you replace the carpet, maybe consider a full cargo area cover. I don’t know anything about this one, but it’s an example.
