I have owned this Land Cruiser for the last three years and it has never let me down. This has always been a southern truck and there is no rust on the frame or undercarriage. I am regrettably selling due to buying a pickup truck. The mileage currently sits at 277,824, but will go up slightly as I still drive it some. Below are the details and if you have any questions, please message me.
Engine/Transmission:
The engine starts up and runs as it should. I change the oil every 3,000 miles and haven't noticed any oil usage between oil changes. The transmission shifts out as it should with no funny noises or abnormal shifting. The heater t's and timing belt were both replaced when I first purchased it about 30,000 miles ago.
Exterior: A few years ago, central Mississippi went through a hail storm and this truck happened to be sitting outside. It has numerous dings in the hood and roof, and a few on the side panels. It's hard to see some of them from a distance due to them blending in with the white paint, but most on the hood are noticeable from the driver's seat. The driver's, glass headlight has a chip in it as well. There are numerous scratches around the perimeter of the truck from use through the years and careless people in parking lots. The front bumper has a lot of road rash and has some fading of the paint. The windshield will need to replaced soon as it has begun leaking due to a poor install a few years ago. I will include all of the seals and trim components from Toyota in order to have a new windshield installed. The fog light lens on the passenger side is broken due to a bird.
Interior: The interior of the truck has held up pretty good for the age and miles. The driver's and passenger seat both show signs of wear, but no splits or tears. The second row seats have some wear and could use a good cleaning. The carpet does have some stains. The fake wood is coming off around the shifter, but looks pretty good on the center stack. The power door locks and windows all work as they should. You do have to unlock using the remote key as turning the key in the door sets the alarm off. The radio works as it should, though I haven't tried the cassette or cd player. The A/C compressor was replaced a few years ago and blows nice and cold.
Ride and Drive: The truck rides great and sits on four, matching Nexen tires. There is a vibration that is felt through the steering wheel at about 60-70 MPH. This could be the tires as they are several years old, but I just learned to live with it. Last year, the steering rack and tie rods were replaced with a new Toyota unit. Also a CV Joint was replaced with a new Toyota unit a couple of years ago.
