I am selling my 2003 UZJ100 series Land Cruiser. I know I will miss having a Land Cruiser and hopefully one day, I will get another. I am just not using this to its full potential and would rather see a fellow Cruiser Head give it the off roading that it needs. I am the 3rd owner. The first owner did most or all of the mods to the truck and had wheeled all over towing a trailer. I think they were located in CO. I bought it from the 2nd owner from Tennessee area back in 2016 and it's been in Arizona since. Is $28k too much for a 2004 LC100?

Please let me know if I am in the wrong forum. We just got our second dog (another German Shepherd), and plan to do a 3-4 week drive around the country in March compete with a bit of backpacking and 4x4 camping before I begin training in the hospital (I'm a med student). Currently, I have a 2010 Subaru forester which is great and does all I need, but for the trip we may want something more spacious in case for whatever reason we find ourselves needing to sleep inside it, and we may end up renting a camping trailer. Plus, it's about time we have a second car as I will be staffed at locations across the region and country for weeks at a time. I found the LC at a used car dealer through a friend, but I haven't had the time to check it...

Rust on LX 470, too much for $18k?

I went to look at a 2005 LX 470 I'm interested in buying. Mileage is low and the rest of the car appears to be in good shape. I pointed my phone under the car and took some photos. Is this amount of rust concerning? It's from an area where rust is inevitable. I'm trying to buy something to actually use, not put in a museum, so something a bit flawed is actually good. I don't want one that's so nice that it makes me feel like I have to be careful. However, I also don't want something that's going to require unreasonable care and money to prevent it from becoming unfit for use within a few years. Is this amount good, typical, or concerning, and does the price seem appropriate?

Wanted Southeast: 2002 LX470

This is very subjective but how much would you guys pay for a '02 LX470? One near me is listed for $23K. 105k miles, southern vehicle its entire life with no rust. All maintenance up to date, recently had timing belt done. Probably my least favorite color, but I've been looking for a long time and I'm ready to buy so I can get over the color. Didn't expect to come across one with so few miles, so I'd have to stretch my budget a bit but I'm okay with that for the right example. Would like to hear yalls opinions.

I am 2nd owner of this fine unit. I have thoroughly enjoyed my trouble free time with her. 222,000 miles and oil is clean and clear even at end of oil change. I swapped out the chrome factory wheels for 2021 Tundra wheels. I have the caps just preferred the rugged look. Michelin tires have plenty of tread. Seats are very good shape and original radio in working order with ML amp but speakers have been upgraded throughout. Factory sub has been bypassed to a aftermarket all in one mini sub. Sounds great. Mechanically fairly sound, muffler was replaced recently. Will probably need brakes within next 10k. I blacked out much of the chrome with plastidip so it can easily be undone. Added a K&N trying to improve fuel mileage...
