Looking to purchase 2006 LX470. Thoughts on the undercarriage?
Hey all, I am looking to purchase this 2006 LX470 with 167k miles a few states over. Before I proceed any further, I requested photos of the undercarriage from the seller. They only sent me a couple. I have asked for a few more, awaiting on response. Checking the vehicle history, this has spent most of the years in CT. Thoughts based on the photos so far? Will add more as I get them from seller.

DFW: 2005 Lexus LX470
Disclaimer: I am posting this since I've been asked this a lot. I am NOT a dealer, just an individual. I have experience selling cars in the past and have learned a lot about it over the years. I used to enjoy buying and selling cars but now am unable to do so because I have a full-time job, 2 young kids, and other commitments that take up most of my time. I still enjoy helping friends and family buy or sell their cars. **I have asked other MUD members about my price and I was told that I can get it if I wait long enough so disrespectful OPINIONS regarding price are NOT welcomed. I will work with serious buyers on price if you can find me COMPARABLE vehicle selling or sold** Up for sale is basically a one-owner 2005 Lexus LX 470 that...
Central New Jersey: 1998 Lexus LX 470
Hi all! I purchased this LX 470 back in September after I lost my 200 series and FJ Cruiser in Hurricane Ida. I was desperate so I bought it off cars and bids. This car prior to September 2021 was in California, that being said its a zero rust car. As soon as I brought it to New Jersey, I lined the whole undercarriage with fluid film. I was astounded by how clean it was the first time I put it on the lift. After purchasing this back in September I totally baselined the car. I performed the following services on the car in the last 10000 miles-> Timing Belt kit and water pump (Aesin) Changed all pulleys and tensioner Changed Igntions coils and spark plugs (Denso) Did valve cover gasket set Changed Heater T's Replaced upper...

Up for sale is my 2000 LX470 in Woodland Pearl (dark green) tan leather, no nav. Fully functioning AHC with new brand new OEM globes, King springs, and neutral pressures are in spec. Rides like a dream. Always a California vehicle - No Rust ~249k miles. Asking $14,500 I recently bought a 2003 LC, so it's unfortunately time to let go of the Flexus. This vehicle has been rock solid since I've owned it since December 2017. It's done everything I asked of it including road trips, ski trips, overlanding, camping. It's taken my wife and I everywhere we want to go in extreme comfort. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow. Prior to my ownership this thing was babied, garaged and always maintained at Lexus dealers -...
After three years of wearing her down, my mother has finally agreed that she needs an LX470 with AHC for her daily. I will be the primary mechanic for it and work on my 1999 here in Atlanta. Our budget is no more than $9,000 up front. Mileage does not scare me. Prefer minimal rust. Prefer tan interior and will not buy Grandpa gold (sorry). Thanks folks! - Patch P.S. we will be selling a 2010 Honda Pilot with approx. 180,000 miles on it (trades available although not recommended to you 😂)

Hi everyone, I hope you had a great holiday. I’ve been a member for a while and although I didn’t post I did find a wealth of information in this community. Thank you! After 5 great years of ownership, I’ve decided to sell my 2000 LX. I purchased the car from a member here, who did the same. It has around 170k miles on it with an OME lift, TRD wheels and other mods. I used Cars&Bids and I’m disappointed with the results. The auction ended today and the highest bid came in at $12,000. She’s not perfect, but I was expecting it to end in the mid to high teens. Was that an unreasonable expectation or is the Cars&Bids community clueless about the value of the 100 series? I ask because of a comment someone made saying they were surprised...
Boulder, CO: 2006 Lexus LX 208k
2006 LX in Boulder, CO. Currently at 208,xxx miles. Asking $19,500. The good: - Mechanically the truck is baselined and cosmetically in great shape. 70+ service records, most at Lexus dealerships. - A couple dings and scratches on the exterior and almost no blemishes on the interior: some nicks on the hood from road gravel which is typical in Colorado, trail rash on drivers side of rear bumper, left side of steering wheel losing some of its color. - Until October 2019 the truck lived in Florida and was serviced regularly at Lexus of Tampa Bay. I have full service history and a CarFax from before my ownership. No rust given 13 years in Florida (though exhaust showing typical surface rust). - I've spent $10K in maintenance and upgrades...

Hello all, I'm looking to get an LC (not interested in LX) that ideally has the following: - little to no rust - less than 150k miles - less than $25k - ideally located within a few hours of San Francisco but also willing to fly out or ship for the right truck Not necessarily particular about color. Please don't message with offers outside of the criteria unless you have a built rig... I'd be willing to shell out more since I'm planning on building an overland rig myself :) Thanks everyone, Kevin

SF Bay Area: 2005 Lexus LX470
It’s with a heavy heart I’m listing my LX470. I bought this at the start of the year after a long hunt for just the right one. This vehicle is a cream puff and ready to haul you and all your friends/family through Tahoe snow or on your next camp trip in the highest of luxury. Original Sacramento car, never owned outside of Folsom, always maintained at Lexus dealership there. Has an insane list of maintenance records on the Lexus/Toyota site. Originally owned by a real estate agent for many years for around town. Not a hint of rust anywhere on the truck. Under my ownership: - Flushed and baselined the AHC and adjusted for 0.5" of lift at normal height. AHC test registers 12 graduations L to H. AHC functions perfectly in all heights and...
