I'm just fitting a repaired gas tank and thought I'd tidy up the passenger seat while it was out. Can anyone identify these rear seat mounts? They're different to the curved tube ones on my 72 and appear to have been repaired or altered with a mig, there's bits of wire sticking out that doesn't look factory. They may well be New Zealand built from new as we had local content requirements for the NZ assembled vehicles back then - the seat belts are badged Teq but NZ made. If it's as it left the NZ assembly line I will keep it as it is, if its been altered later I'll return it to curved tube. Also, the passenger seat front legs are very close together, tho the lower parts have been repaired. The mount points in the floor are in the same position as the later ones.
