2001 Land Cruiser with Doug Thorley headers, brush guards - SoCal
I love this truck and always thought I would keep it for the next 15 years. It glides down the freeway and the DT headers make it feel even more solid. But I can’t swing the two vehicle thing right now and will be driving a lot more next year for work. In the 4 years that I’ve owned it, I’ve put on mainly highway miles driving to Orange County (surfing) and LA on the weekends. It’s listed at $13,900. This is basically what I put in the Autotrader ad: 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 4WD in great condition. Runs and drives excellent. I had Doug Thorley headers installed earlier this year. I just couldn’t take the ticking noise anymore. It has newer brakes, new thermostat, new plastic window switches ($575), timing belt has 30k left...
Hi- We are on the prowl for a 2003 to 2006 100 Series Land Cruiser or LX 470. Will only consider trucks with service records and average to low miles. Prefer trucks that haven't been on salty roads or those with high miles. Please PM for ideas. Will consider non stock trucks with mild builds. I can buy the 100 series outright. But FYI, We are selling or will trade with cash a custom built 1997 40th Landcruiser FJZ80. ARB heavy lift kit. Custom Rock sliders. Custom front and rear bumpers. Warn 8000 winch. Heavy duty Specter seat covers. New BFG 35 inch tires. 150k miles. We simply don't use this truck for camping anymore.

2003 Land Cruiser 204,000 Miles $7500 Truck has been in the family since new. 100% unmolested stocker. Runs excellent, zero oil consumption and zero fluid leaks. Interior decent. Small dent in front right fender. Parking lamp works and stays in place, but fastenings are broken. Should replace. New rim, no spare tire. Power antenna won't extend or retract. Motor works. I fixed the evaporative emissions problem with a new solenoid valve with the help of the good folks here. I'm selling the truck because my mother could really use the money. 2001 Land Cruiser, 148k miles
Edit 1/15: Truck is sold! Hi, sad to be selling this truck as it's awesome but it isn't a good fit for my wife (who is short) and is intimidated by driving large cars. That, and she can't actually lift our 6 month old in his car seat into the back, so... Away it goes. :( I'm selling our 2001 Land Cruiser with 148k miles. It is a black/grey exterior, and grey interior. It starts great, runs great, and got a clean bill of health (with minor maintenance recommended, but not required on the front CV boots) from Go Toyota Arapahoe. I just had (used, but good) 285/65/18 BFG AT KOs installed on it, plus durable steel wheels, and a 4-wheel lifetime alignment done by Firestone. The BFGs are tremendous all-terrain tires for our climate and are...

1998 Toyota landcruiser river rock in color with 130xxx miles. Was a one owner till a couple of weeks ago: bought for the wifey but she wants something newer? Great southern car well kept by an adult owner. Maintenance to date: timing belt done @ 80-+ miles by Toyota with sticker in engine compartment, water pump, brakes both ends, rebuilt starter by Toyota, new windshield done correctly (he had them come back and use the right glue). Michelin tires with only 10k miles left on them. I love this car but just not in the cards right now. Only know problems is the drivers window is unhooked because a piece is broke. The driver seat is good the passenger seat is worn on the right side? Paint is good! Scraps on the bumper like...
I'm new to the forums, but thought I'd relay this as I wasted a day pursuing this 2006 FJ100 on Autotrader. The fraudster is "Jennifer Wright", out of "San Bruno, CA." The 100 was an excellent price -- a little too. They wanted to work through Amazon Payments - a service which doesn't accept payments for cars to begin with. When I (mockingly) asked to see the truck, their response was that they still haven't received any payment and they'll hold the truck for one more day. :flipoff2: The cherry on top was that the truck "is now located in Augusta, Maine." Onward with the 100 search!

I've been searching for an '03-05 (maybe an '06) dd for a while now, but came across this LX in Spokane . Its listed at $17, 900 but I'm sure it could be had for less... So my questions are... 1. Should I hold out for an '03+ with low miles (my budget is $30k) 2. I have never driven an early 100 series... would I be dissapointed in performance/interior goodies compared to an 05/07? Thanks in advance for any advice. I'm learning a lot her here on mud and can't wait to own a 100 series.
