Selling my 2006 4Runner v8 Limited in Sonoran Gold. Currently at 143,300 miles and rising as it is my daily driver. I have owned it for a little over a year. With two kiddos and the addition of a second dog, we find our need for space to be greater, so we are moving up to an LX570.
Loaded with leather, nav, backup camera, JBL, 3rd row seats, and tow package. I have added BFG KO2s with about 7k miles on them and Discount Tire replacement certificates, all three rows WeatherTech mats, and hood protector. I have clean title in hand and CARFAX ready for viewing. Car was titled in CA it’s entire life until me, with the last owner using it to drive back and forth from AZ to CA.

Re did interior with new carpet and new sound system with custom wood panels for the mid and rear.

About to buy my first 4Runner (first offroad vehicle, actually).
I'm looking for a Gen 4 (2003 - 2009) Sport that is near-stock, has been very well maintained, and has little or no rust. High mileage is fine, provided it has been well maintained.
I plan to do some mild upgrades (2" OME lift; AT tires) so that I can do some offroading but also use it on the road and for towing.
Please let me know if you have one you're willing to part with.
I've found one at a dealer about 500 miles away that fits the bill. It's a 2005 one-owner with 165k miles. The prior owner looks like they maintained it very well:

hi all im new to the site and needing help with my 2lte surf
when its cold and i start it it chugges and chuggs and will stall unless you rev it until it stops chuging (a quick rev to 3000rm will do it) snd then it idles but with a massive miss fire and if you stand about 20 metres from the truck you cant see it at all its all black what could be the issue ??
i have just put brand new glow plugs in and it starts easy but still a massive misfire and huge amount of smoke when its warm its fine i have put a whole bottle of morreys injector clean in but its still the same its been like this since someone played with my spill control valve they changed it like 2-3 turns with a screw driver i think and i want to know what the correct...

1987 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with two previous owners, in my possession for the past 12 years. Original condition with original paint that still cleans up well. 310k miles.
This truck is a 22re 4cylinder, 5speed, 4x4. Runs strong, gets 20mpg, and doesn't smoke. Timing chain replaced at 260k. New head gasket at 260k. Rebuilt transmission at 200k due to 4th gear synchronizer going out. Differential, transmission, transfer case and engine oil changed regularly. Brand new Cooper AT3 tires, 31x10.5x15. The bad:
It has a few cracks in the body near the engine compartment (i'll show that in the pics).
It is missing the "plastic front grill".
It has some minor surface rust in the under carriage area that can be buffed out.
