This one has been idling in my garage for way too long. Bought it back in 2009 from California with the intent of going all out on it but time and finances never allowed for it. I hate to let it go but I am in need of a diesel work truck. I am open to a good 4x4 diesel work truck trade.
It is pretty much all original even down to the paint. Rims and tires are not original. Unmodified/unmolested. Body and frame is very solid with little cosmetic rust mostly in the bed. Some scratches and minor dents. Definitely not a rust...

Toyota diesel 4x4 4-door dual crew cab pickup truck. These trucks are legendary in terms of their reliability. Arguably one of the most reliable trucks ever made. 1986 Toyota Pickup 22RE SR5 EFI 4x4 extended cab long bed. 114,000 original miles. I'm the 2nd owner. Everything on this truck is in really good condition & the engine is in excellent condition. Garaged all its life until I got it at 96,000 miles 3 years ago. Some surface rust and I bought it with the drivers side dent. It's merely cosmetic though. Doesn't effect frame or door and can be fixed. Original owner hit parking lot pole at low speed "15mph". Original topper in great shape (locks & operates smoothly). It's always lived in dry Colorado. It's a great truck but I'm buying a van to build out as a camper so it's time for this truck to find a new home. I have more pics if people show interest!

Still truckless after my Cruiser sale last week...been riding my bicycle, luckily I don't have a commute. I figured I'd post this here as well as my WTB in the 4Runner section. To be honest I'd prefer a pickup, it's a big reason I sold my 100. Haven't had much luck locally. One '86 that's a beauty but he wants $11K now for it which is nuts. I'm in Virginia Beach but will pay to ship for the right one. Working AC is a must, it gets sticky hot down here in summer. I'll also be bumping my way to the west coast in whatever I buy after summer, so something reliable is needed.

It is with great sadness that I am posting my beloved 1980 RN37 (short wheelbase 4x4 Hilux).
This truck is modified. It has a new Chevy 4.3 V6 engine with a 4L60E trans and NP241C transfercase. The engine conversion is California Legal and it has a BAR sticker. Bed of the truck is covered with Line-X. The soft top is a Can-Back and is in very good condition. The stock dash cluster has been modified with a VDO Speedo and tach. Bought as a project, since I can't get to it any time soon it's going to have to go. Short bed Pickup with L52 5 speed transmission, rebuilt 20/22r hybrid with big valves and webber 32/36 DGAV, new joints, 5.29 gears, spool in rear, lockers in front, 87 vented rotors in front, 6" lift shackles, u-bolt flip, rear leafs up front with axle bolted 2" further forward, trail gear high steer and ifs power steering box, shock hoops up front with fox shocks all the way around, rock sliders, 35" Goodyear MTR's, Bead protectors and full size spare. 50% tread on rear and 70% up front.
