I may be suffering from "I think my truck is worth more than it is" itis haha so I'll ask best fair offer I suppose. I have it listed locally on Craigslist for 6k. Anyway here it is:
I'm selling my 22re 1987 Toyota pickup because my family is growing and I need a family friendly vehicle.
It has 370k miles but you wouldn't even know it The good:
Its a California truck
Rebuilt engine bought used from Craigslist. It was built at a place down in NC. The guy I bought it from said it was in his truck for a year and he pulled it for another engine build. I have put around 10k miles on it.
New clutch when I put the engine in.
No rust on frame or majority of the body.
New inspection this February
I repaired a PS pump leak. No longer leaks...

I've been looking for a decent diesel Hilux for awhile now and came across this low mile one for $18,990. Does that sound like a fair deal? I was thinking about one for a daily driver because I've always dreamed of owning a Toyota diesel. I've driven both a 22re and 3vze pickup and loved them both until they died. So is this practical or should I keep looking for one cheaper or move onto a newer Tacoma? Looking for advice as well as just posting a nice truck for sale.

This 1985 Toyota 4x4 (4wd) Pickup Truck is fuel injected with a 22re and 5 speed manual transmission. Price is $10,500. This truck has a clean title and has been a great joy to me. it's a very unique truck and is one of a kind. You never know could be rust under but that is a very attractive price
Needs new wheels imo, but interior looks mint and taken care of or restored at some point, body looks good from crappy cell pics so who knows could be rust under spray paint in person but I thought it was a deal worth sharing

Looks like it has got a little more wear and tear on it since then. Either that or the old photos hid it better. I don't believe for a second this "*Has been summer driven only**" ...with studded tires and a Webasto. Still seems like a good truck but reading the description I would bet the reserve is more than it's worth.

Anyone know this truck near Tampa? Looks like it could be pretty nice, but also appears to be for sale by a 17 year old kid, which makes me suspect I'm having a mid life crisis I didn't realize I was going through.
