Looks pretty good inside and out for its age, Runs ok shifts ok and drives down the road ok, biggest problem is the radiator needs to be replaced before you drive it for any kind of distance. So unless you live a few miles away(unlikely) you will need a trailer. Front brake pads were changed 6k ago and new tires around 4k miles ago, new battery a few months ago. I bought this fj80 in may of 2013 with 268k miles on it from another MUD member, it now has 295k. I have the 3rd row seats in excellent condition and I have all the mud flaps. I also have two new Denzo O2 Sensors that I never installed. The PO was halfway through the job, and had lost enough parts that i ended up just installing an entire engine. This truck is a two owner, soccer mom, mall-cruiser. Spent most of it's life in the piedmont of North Carolina (read no snow, no salt, no rust). It is completely unmolested, right down to the OEM "Brush Guard" and tail light guards. 160k miles $5K location CT has factory lockers but the rear is not working (light just keep flashing) oil leaking and not sure where from it looks like the front of the motor i just bought it but don't have the knowledge or time to fix it. the frame looks solid but the PO had some type of spray to cover up all the surface rust the body is decent but has 1 rust spot above the step rail in the rear, drive side interior is very good no rips in leather starts and drives fine I have no records so i'm assuming the front axle will need service. Hello, Priorities have changed and I'm selling my 1996 FZJ80 Land Cruiser with 174k miles. It is NOT locked, has two-tone paint, fender flares, sun/moon roof, and 7 passenger seating. I bought this a couple of years ago, it was one of my dream trucks. My plan was to build it into an overloading rig. The first thing I did was go through it mechanically and fix everything found, including leaks (oil, coolant, etc.). I also put synthetic oils everywhere. I've added the 2.5" OME heavy duty lift (springs, shocks, steering stabilizer, bushings) and relatively new set of 5 BFG AT TA/KO E-rated tires (October 2014, less than 5 thousand miles on them). I recently purchased the truck in Dec and had big plans for adventures and fun hobby to tinker with. I would love to keep it but I just don't see myself using enough to justify keeping it. I drive my Tacoma as a DD and I think it suits me better.
