Hello,

Priorities have changed and I'm selling my 1996 FZJ80 Land Cruiser with 174k miles. It is NOT locked, has two-tone paint, fender flares, sun/moon roof, and 7 passenger seating.

I bought this a couple of years ago, it was one of my dream trucks. My plan was to build it into an overloading rig. The first thing I did was go through it mechanically and fix everything found, including leaks (oil, coolant, etc.). I also put synthetic oils everywhere.

I've added the 2.5" OME heavy duty lift (springs, shocks, steering stabilizer, bushings) and relatively new set of 5 BFG AT TA/KO E-rated tires (October 2014, less than 5 thousand miles on them). Right now I have a set of Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx tires (set of 5) on it (purchased November 2015, less than 3,000 miles on them). Which tires are included depends on the sale price.

It has a towing package on it, though I don't know if it's factory. I've added wiring for a Tekonsha P3 brake controller and both 4 pin flat and 7 pin RV connections for trailer lights and brakes. I'll be installing a center diff switch this week hopefully. I used it to pull a small RV trailer (16') a couple of times.

The interior is a little rough - dash is cracked, driver's seat is rough, front passenger seat won't slide back. The stereo is really tinny too. Everything works (except passenger seat) though. A/C blows cold too (I'm in the New Mexico desert, cold A/C is a requirement).

The exterior is in decent shape for a car this old that has seen off-highway use. There are some dings and scrapes, but nothing I consider major. Personally I like the character it adds, this is not a highway or trailer queen.

My daughter and I love driving the Toyota. Runs and drives very well. She especially likes sitting up so tall in it. I hate to see it go, but as I said my priorities have changed and it's time to thin out the herd. I'm putting my Suburban (2500, 8.1 liter, 4x4, 3.73 gears) and Land Cruiser up for sale. First one to find a new home will determine the one I keep.

I'm asking $8,000 OBO. Located in Alamogordo, NM, near El Paso, TX.

There are some pics in my gallery. I'll try to add them to this thread shortly.

Here are the pics.

Thanks
Greg

I forgot to mention, she also has new rotors on the front and brakes all the way around (recently, I'd have to go look at the paperwork to get the date).

Thanks again
Greg
