This is a great FJ80 Land Cruiser. I've taken great care of it the past year and a half, but I'm moving north and haven't perfected the art of driving two cars at once. Had service done at reputable mechanic in Houston to ensure it was done right the first time.

I have been travelling around Sakhalin Island Russia in various company fleet Land Cruisers. Last Thursday it snowed 8 inches and I travelled 2 hours on a muddy road and the cruiser performed flawlessly. Seeing the performance and reliability of these cruisers that survive these terrible conditions daily sparked my desire to own one back home in the USA. I started looking at 2008+ model LX570's but they are too pricy and I think the air suspension would suffer if I put it in storage long term, 1-2 years.
In conclusion, I have decided to get a series 80. In my research, locked vs unlocked is a huge deal. I will probably go with best condition and add lockers later if not present.

2 owners from the Austin area. I saw it up close. The interior is meh. Did not drive it. Paint looks good with several annoying dents. No service records that I know of and seems the radiator was replaced with an aftermarket radiator and they broke the fan shroud along the way.
This was on EBay for a week with a buy it now at $12,500 I believe and ended without a buyer.

I will be parting with my current 80 to build a 40th anniversary that I was fortunate to find. Truck is located in Grand Junction, CO has 257K on the ticker as it sits currently. 35 BFG KO's on painted factory wheels with about 65% tread left. Interior is 6.5 out of 10, everything is there and works, Interior could use a detail, typical torn front drivers, have seat covers on so I dont notice it. Weld on sliders, I will include nice front and rear factory bumpers. This is a super rare unit and deserves to be back in the wild where it belongs, but I have too many projects and not enough time. This rig has the "poverty pack" manual crank windows, manual door locks, lever style climate control, cloth seats, just simple Toyota. Only power option is the sunroof. I know if this truck was all fixed up I could get double what I'm asking, but it's just sitting in my driveway waiting for the attention it deserves and someone should be using it to have fun in this summer.
