1988 FJ62 157,xxx SOLD
I'm the second owner of this Landcruiser. Purchased at 152-3k on 2007. Has been garage kept since them.
Condition:
Inside - brown carpet and dash look good for its age. Rear seat is in good condition. Front seats have been replaced with Corbeau suspension seats. Currently the color on the seats are red and black (found out I was a crappy seamstress). Have been looking for brown seat covers to match the rest or have them recovered, but they are very comfy. All switches work. Windows/locks are a bit slow but still work.
Outside - There were two rust spots. One on the passenger rear fender well. Grinded the rust off back to bare metal and applied some Naval Jelly and was covered with hurculiner. Front...

i have had my FJ60 for around 2 1/2 years and completed the V8 conversion, OME suspension, and lots of other stuff that was fun to do. My job has me in Europe more than here, and my boss is "hinting" that he would prefer I lived in Germany. I am thinking the hints will become a requirement around January, so it's time to post my Landcruiser for sale.
My build thread is up to date, from when I bought it. Has around 143k miles on it, I started working on it around 137k miles. I really only play with it on the weekends.

1985 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60, 226K Miles, 4spd.
Stock, all original, all maintenance and repairs made with OEM parts.
Minimal rust near rain rail on roof, and passenger side column near weather stripping and windshield. No other rust to report.
Looking for good home, not currently registered, have all paperwork and clean title.
Has not been driven much in the last couple of years, runs strong, but small exhaust leak. Needs TLC and a good home.

It looks like I'm moving to a smaller garage so I need to downsize my fleet of parts rigs.
The smashed up grey one runs and drives good but no brakes, typical rear quarter rust and various other rust. It is the 86 and mostly complete. Missing t-case linkage and one taillight. Originally Blue with grey interior.
The black one was originally white with a brown interior. It is an early 84 model. It lot runs and drives, but has no brakes or radiator. It is sitting on a set of 1988 FJ62 axles and the rear has no ring and pinion. The frame is rusted through and this one is pretty rough.
Both trucks together would give you about 95 percent of what you need for a nice truck.
I will sell the grey one for $1400 and the black one for $1000...
