It's with a heavy heart that it's time for my family to part ways with Babe the big blue ox. She has treated us well but since our daughter was born has not been getting the attention she deserves. This has been an amazing Colorado rig for us getting me and my family on some great trips, floating rivers, catching fish, hiking, camping, hunting and generally loving what the mountains have to offer. Unfortunately I don't have the time to keep up with what she needs though so its time to pass her on to the next adventurer!
I have recorded some of the original build on here which shows the learning experience I had building her up. She's not perfect but runs very well and I have always tried to focus more on the mechanical aspects...

I grabbed this Cruiser a while back now. Removed the interior completely due to the fact
the carpet was not salvageable at all and wanted to get a better look at the overall condition
of every nook and cranny on the car.
First off looking at the undercarriage we will see the front axle seals will need to be serviced.

Posting for a neighbor of mine who has it listed on FB Marketplace, where you can find his contact info and more pictures. The big selling points of this truck are definitely 1) he is the original owner with receipts for mechanical work and 2) the body/frame/paint. Paint is original and in good condition and the truck appears to have no rust on body and frame. I have driven the truck and did not notice any drivability issues. It does take 5 seconds or more to crank over. The seller has a complete set of leather seat covers that he can include in the sale. Selling our 1988 Toyota Diesel Landcruiser. Starts; runs and drives perfectly. No aggravating sensors or computers to worry about. This is a tank and has been well looked after. Pretty much rust free and frame is like new, and frame has been cleaned and painted. Metal panels replaced where needed. Almost ready for paint. Needs some cosmetic finishes ( simple project, but not overwhelming) fresh oil change with factory filter. Engine has a lot less Kms. (diesel swap already done)
All new brakes ( brakes just needs bleeding) and brake parts; brand new tires and Toyota rims.

I replaced a few parts on my 1989 FJ62, so have the originals left over. Prefer not to store them. See pictures. Only 5 pics allowed on site so can email more on request.
1. Front bumper - has a small dent, and a small ding in it which is why I replaced it. In box and ready to go.
2. Grill and headlight door kit - no crack, just worn so I replaced it.
3. Instrument Cluster Finish panel - was cracked so replaced it. Can easily super glue and breaks are clean.
4. Washer basin - crack at very top so didn't leak, but I replaced it. Free if anyone wants to pay for shipping.
With a lot of regret, I’m thinking of selling my 1987 FJ60. I’ve had it for about a year, but just not enjoying it like I should. I haven’t really come down to a number, thinking $20,000 obo.

Selling my 1986 FJ60 sadly. This was my daily driver for a year and during that year it has stayed reliable with no real 'fall off' or decrease in performance over time. I just moved to Salt Lake and can't have it for the city anymore. It isn't perfect and does need some tlc, but it runs and drives very well for stock engine. The frame is pretty clean and only has surface rust. The exterior has some 'cancer' spots and small rust through around the rear wheel wells which is pretty common for all FJ60's, It got in an off roading accident before I got it and the rocker panel on the driver side is pushed in a couple inches, but you can definetly pull it back out. Ok guys here’s the situation. I’m very new to the work of FJs. Found a guy selling a 1984 FJ60 and he wants 23,000. No rust runs impeccably well. Everything is original accept the carb (says it’s an Australian carb from Spector off-road) and it’s got a huge horn. No rust underneath all the window frames, and usual places are clean. It has one quarter size spec on the hatch other than that it’s totally rust free. ALSO it says there are 118,000 miles BUT cardiac shows it had 180 in 2009 (not sure how much of an impact that has in the value). Is this fairly priced or am I insane for even considering it?

Hard to part I’ve loved this car, and it’s hard to see it go but I’ve got new family responsibilities that need my time. I’m looking for a new owner who will love this classic.

Unfortunately selling my 1986 fj60. Looking for what price I should sell it for. Has some problems but runs ok. Two passenger doors had to be replaced so different color. Passenger front quarter panel dented. 220k miles, mainly sat for about a year, though driven occasionally. Daily driven for years before that. Engine is solid but has transmission issues, though new clutch and shifts great. Emissions removed as well as A/C, though have those parts along with many others.
