Grafton Vermont: 1971 FJ40. (no affiliation)
Spotted this one while searching through local land cruiser ads. Looks like it might be a relatively clean and stock unmolested truck. Price is too high for me but probably inline with or maybe even low if its a clean and stock machine. https://vermont.craigslist.org/cto/d/cambridgeport-classic-toyota-fj40/6975906911.html "This beauty with less then 35,000 original miles desires a new owner. 3 on the column, 4 wheel drive. Winch on the front. Recent spot rust. Clean" On a side note: its funny that in one photo they felt the need tot blot out the license plate but in the preceding photo its clearly visible. 🤣
I like to monitor Costa Rica rigs, this came up down there. The 45 Looked Interesting https://costarica.craigslist.org/cto/6980181457.html?lang=en&cc=us If anyone is interested in going down there, lmk I have a Airbnb that you can enjoy for a great deal :) But Jaco Beach probably a little funner https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22732186?s=67&shared_item_type=1&virality_entry_point=1&sharer_id=146775334
San Diego, CA: 1974/Toyota/FJ40
1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 F155 motor, four speed manual. Probably over 100k miles, no way of knowing since odometer broke at 56,000. Therefore assume 156,000 minimum. Recently replaced clutch, cylinder head, oil pan, front axle seals and brakes. Radiator replaced 4 years ago. Starts easily and runs very smooth. Solid truck, drives straight. Rear differential will need replacement, there’s a bit of play when the clutch is engaged too quickly so it clunks slightly-go easy and it’s not a problem. Price reflects this fact. If this is your first time, read every word in this link before asking any questions: *** Purchasing an FJ-40 / FJ-40 B U Y E R S G U I D E *** (f A Q ) The Classic FJ40, ready for the next chapter in it’s...

Truck is NLA, part out has begun 1978 FJ40 For Sale - $5200 Located on Long Island, NY Delivery is potentially available for a fee Please carefully review the linked videos. In them we attempt to show everything about the truck, with emphasis on the bad bits - we want to be 110% upfront about what is bad here - because there is so little of it and because the rest is so remarkable for a 40 here in the Northeast. (And because we have wasted far too much time looking at trucks that are way worse than advertised.) FJ40 videos We think this is a great platform for a full-on restoration, a resto-mod or a trail truck build (with a bunch of super-clean stuff to sell off!) We have crawled all over this rig in order to document its...
1975 FJ40 - Built - ETX
For Sale: 1975 FJ40 VIN:FJ40193478 - Matching Tub and Frame I bought this FJ40 from a guy in New Orleans in 2013 and it had been painted tan and had a SOA done to it when I purchased it. The SOA was not done to my liking, so it was redone using a Ruff Stuff SOA kit using FJ62 axles. The TBI 350 was already installed and not much has been done to that. There is a link with 150+ photos from when it was purchased, and the work began. The first photos of when it was tan/ still tan paint visible, were the beginning of the project. I did not make a build thread (I should have looking back) but I hope the photos can tell the story as it progressed. The body was removed, and major rust issues cut out and repaired. I replaced the rear sill...
69 FJ40 For Sale
I've got a 1969 FJ40 for sale. Does not run. Restoration project or buy to part out. It sat from 1994 to this past April. It is fitted for a Ford 289 motor, which I have yet to pull. Reason I'm selling: I currently have no place to store it and if I did I wouldn't have the money to restore it. My loss is definitely your gain. Its got a lot of sentimental value to me, but I gotta let it go. ;( Asking 3k OBO, any questions, let me know. Vehicle is located in San Bernardino, CA. Have title in hand.
Sold - 1966 Fj40 all original - Sold
Don't have the time for this project vehicle like i thought i would. All original parts, some rust, but not too far gone. originally bought in PA with a notarized bill of sale.( no title) garage kept &/or covered for the entire time I've owned it. Engine holds compression, but PO took out brake lines & battery. has 1F engine and 3 on the tree transmission intact. also have an extra '73(?) axle with disc brakes. Have the fiberglass hardtop separated from vehicle. (ready for restoration) asking $5000.
