This is my daily driver. Moving on to a FJ55 09/1973- Original F155 with header. 3 speed transmission. Saginaw Power Steering conversion using Mark's Off road kit. Front disc brake kit. ProComp 2.5" springs with Bilstein shocks and ManAfre 3 1/4" Anti inversion shackles. Top rebuilt with all new Cityracer weatherstripping. New door felts and rubber. I took apart seats cleaned wire wheeled painted and reupholstered the front seats. 3 pt retractable seat belts in front. 4 pt in back. Has BestTop fold and tumble in the back. I do not have the jump seats. 33x10.5x15 Dick Cepeks on 15x6 rims. 95% rust free. Rear sill need replacing- and rust/small holes on floor behind transmission hump. Body was painted by PO 9 years ago...

1971 Parts or Project Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, Clean Title
Originally bought it to work on over the next few years but then stumbled upon a 67' to play with as well. I have decided to sell the 71' to focus on restoring my 67' FJ instead because it has a perfect frame.
The 1971 does not start and the frame is most likely shot. However, a lot to build on or use for parts.

1972 FJ40 in Boise, ID. First of all, why am I selling? I have five vehicle with two of them needing time and money-the 40 and a camper van. With the upcoming ski season in an unsure place, we're going all in on the van so we can stay at trailheads for BC if needed.
I bought this from a coworkers husband in poor health. He's owned in since the late 80s. I have meticulous records from him and have kept records of the work I've done. Original motor-odometer reads 33,xxx miles and he thought it was about 133,xxx. OEM four speed installed at Toyota dealer. Some motor work done over the years and I'll have to pull out his records.

Selling a White 1971 FJ40 with its original F-155 engine and 3 speed on the column. The FJ40 runs and drives. Truck is all original except the Weber carb, FJ60 wheels and driver seat, the bracket for the tool box is there though. It will need the driver side floor patched, but I have a driver side floor panel for it. The rear floor was cut out in the middle off some reason but I have rear floor piece you can use to weld back in. The truck was from Alabama so it comes with a bill of sale they do not issue titles in Alabama. The hard top w the rear hatch, front steel doors, and rear half doors come with the truck. I've been trying to get my hands on an FJ40 for a while now, and one popped up pretty close to me.
Pros -
rust isn't bad. spots here and there but on the whole it's mostly surface rust. underside looks decent as well.
drives great, starts right up without issue.
has been sitting outside in the owner's driveway for a while and I see no oil / fluid stains on his driveway from where it has been parked.
Cons -
The frame shows a serial of BJ40 - 0319##. The engine is a gas 2F, and the current owner doesn't know the backstory. Claims the title is all good, not salvage.
No hardtop, no ambulance doors. Selling with a pretty beat up safari top and soft top with holes and ducktape...
This has been my woman on the side.. for the last 20 years. Arizona rust free cruiser. As my profile states always a project... This is a project that requires chassis wiring and time to work out the bugs.. This is a 45-55k+ cruiser in short order. It needs someones time to finish.. I was single when I started it, got married and had three girls (not a tomboy among them). So it's time for someone else to enjoy a nearly finished project.
Started out life as a 1964 FJ40 soft top.
2001 LS1 (low mile pull out around 2004) with rebuilt 4l60E with advance adapters parts to mount and mate everything.

Back story – Truck was purchased by my PO from Wimberley 4x4 as a father/son project in 2006. Father/son team sent it back to Wimberley 4x4 in 2008. The guys there did a lot of mechanical and body work and the truck got one of the last steel full tubs that CCOT produced. It was at that shop a while and essentially got a body on restoration. Truck was originally 031 White but resprayed 621 Rustic Green. It was one of the last projects to come out of Daniel's shop before his brother passed away and he eventually sold the business to Proffitt's. I don't think my PO used it all that much after they got it back and they certainly did not maintain it like it deserved (i.e. sun baked hood and...

engine bay is unmolested save the fuel pump which is from later year.

gas tank no leaks, doors are perfect rear barns in great shape as well as bi fold.
one hard top side has dent but repairable. the other side dented probably beyond repair.
top is eh at best.

Selling my 1976 FJ40 that I’ve owned since 2016....two kids in college and other priorities. Purchased from Mud member out of Atlanta and has been in South Carolina since. Original 2F engine, Weber carb. I’ve had to change battery, starter and ignition coil but nothing else. Mechanically sound and runs well. There are a couple cancer spots that probably need attention(louver and windshield frame,), but most of the normal areas for concern are solid(front floorboards, lower doors and back).

Offering up my 1979 FJ40 that I’ve owned since 2007. Purchased in Santa Fe, New Mexico and has lived in Houston Texas since then. Was in storage from 2008-2014 while I was living in Canada. Has original 2F engine and only mod I’ve made since owning her was OME suspension. She’s mechanically sound and purrs like a kitten, only needs some cancer treatment in the usual areas: front floorboard, lower doors and back. I’ve done the following to her in the last 2-4 years:

I drove to Cedarburg, WI today to save some cruiser parts from going to the landfill and the owner told me about this one that he noticed for sale last week. I told him I would check it out on the way back home. Sure enough I was able to find it and, well not sure what to say so I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Form your own opinions o_O.
Just posting this up for you all. Looks like a good price for a project with some potential. Patchwork of repaint; perhaps rust repairs? Looks to have been tarped and not driven since 2018. FB ad states it's the original owner, so they should be able to answer detailed questions.

Decent runner used for most of its life as a hunting vehicle with top and doors off. Very dry with only rust on rear side wheel well tops. Rear fenders are uncut but have rivet holes from old plastic flares. Windshield is cracked as well as passenger roll up window. I built this cruiser for my personal use when I started and operated Wolf Creek Rod Works in Pagosa Springs. I sold the company some years back and it has since gone out of business. I used this Cruiser annually at Cruise Moab for fun and business. I just don't use it enough anymore to keep it. It drove to Moab, not a trailer queen. It's not fancy with pristine body work.
