I needed new seats in my FJ40, and got these BMW 3 series seats from a junk yard and had mounting brackets made up so I could install them. I'm 6'4" and have the stock steering wheel, and I just don't fit right...I'm too big! This would be ideal for someone smaller, and maybe for someone who has a smaller steering wheel. June 1973 Factory Soft Top FJ40 (FST). While I don’t have the actual soft top (I wish I did), most of you know that the soft top version is different than the much more common hard top version in a few ways including: Drop down tailgate instead of the barn-doors, also the doors can be removed without tools by simply twisting them off. There are a few other small differences. This one was originally Dune Beige, but a previous owner painted it what I think is Horizon Blue to match the hardtop. Rear fenders have not been cut.

This is a 1978 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser. Prior restoration done around 2010. Inline 6 cyl. engine and 4 speed manual transmission. Interior is in great condition. Everything works and has current Va. State Inspection. 33” BF Goodrich tires on white wagon style wheel. Spare matches the others. There are several areas on the body in need of attention where the paint is bubbling up. Selling my ‘72 FJ40 Landcruiser. Pretty complete, good hardtop and doors but missing rear window glass. Carb is off the engine as is exhaust manifold (it was cracked). 1972 FJ40 Landcruiser. Very solid classic. Powered by 57 Chev 283 and 4spd trans back to Toyota transfer case and differentials. Custom cage and soft half doors. Also has full hard doors and top. Custom front and rear bumpers, Teflon coated ATX wheels with BFG mud terrains. Lots of work done on it. Has salvage title due to being a theft recovery where original power train was removed. Original 1978 FJ40 with some original paint, many new OEM part updates (cooling system, dash pad, front bumper, lights, etc. etc.).
