Everything with the repair of the CV Axle has gone well so far until it came time to insert the new CV into the Diff.
Watched and read about various techniques but I can't seem to get the last 1/8" of the CV inserted.
The C-ring at the end of the shaft I've tried in both the 12 and 6 o'clock position. 12 went in the most.
I then used a pry bar with an engineers hammer to get it in rest of the way. Now it's just shy of being up against the diff and no amount of hammering is making it move.
Suggestions?
