1972 Toyota FJ40. I didn’t want to sell this, but times are tough. It runs, drives and stops. 1F, 3 spd, it’s all original. I replaced most of the brake lines, new 33x10.50 tires, rear locker, and tune up. It’s not perfect, still needs some things. $12000 Serious inquires only. Leave me a number and I’ll call you. Nice project truck, body work nearly finished and all rust has been repaired. Frame is solid, Rear Quarters replaced, floor pans, etc. I have new front fenders and most of the original factory parts along with 3 engines, several transfer cases, extra front chunk, original air cleaner, hard top, many parts. This could be a very nice truck with some TLC. I began restoration several years ago and just lost interest. Call or text with questions.

Have a 73 FJ40 from Alabama with a good body with a engine that I haven’t been able to get it running and a 69 blue FJ40 with a good engine. Both trucks have good frames on them. You can either build one FJ40 out of the two or build two separate 40’s if you have another body. The red 73 FJ40 comes with the steel front doors & rear half doors, it doesnt come with a hard top. The blue 69 comes with the hard top sides, roof, rear hatch, and blue front doors. The blue 69 doesn’t have the seats, steering wheel, front bib, rear doors & rear hatch, front bumper, hood spear and has different wheels and tires on it so it can roll better. I’ve got a project I picked up a few years ago that I’m realizing I’ll never get to. Someone needs to finish this. Body done ready for paint. Motor and drivetrain rebuilt. Electronic ignition and front disc brakes added. Shackle reversal up front. 2” lift with Steelies and 33”BFG(5ea). Needs paint and assembly. Fiberglass top is already restored. Have a bunch of receipts. All misc parts bagged and tagged in tubs. All panels and glass in crates with foam and casters in crates. The guy I got it from was an engineer and very meticulous. Runs, drives, and stops as it should. This is a good as a daily driver or farm truck or a good platform for a complete renovation.
The truck was recently painted and no rust on the body. The paint is not perfect, but nice and gets tons of complements when I drive it.
Has original engine and transmission (3 speed)

Runs and drives as great as you could possibly expect for a 50 year old three speed manual shift. No issues at all.
Mileage 65,593 (Not accurate. Tach/Speedometer went out on the previous owner 4 months before selling to me. I have put only 500 miles on it…….maybe)

WARN 8000 series winch ( I believe it's an older version of the current 8274-50). It was working fine, but I cut the wires in preparation for a winch rebuild that never happened. “Herm The Overdrive Guy” 360-256-3843, may be able to help you with parts , and maybe even restoration.
You will not need to do anything mechanically to this Landcruiser because I’ve done everything except the annoying oil leak...
This is the perfect start to your project, or the solution to your existing rig after you buddy 'sent it' over that jump. Complete rolling chassis on a really clean frame and a rare, rust free tub, cowl, fenders and hood. The tub alone is worth this price - and your get the rest for free!!!

Selling a 1977 Land Cruiser FJ40. It appears it's been off the road since 1997 by the plate tag. It was inop in the high desert for years. The odometer shows 76,151 miles. Sold as you see it. No transmission, transfer case, or top. It does come with the rear ambulance doors.
The body has little rust through. There was 2" of dirt that had blown into and settled onto the floorboards and probably sat there for years so there is rust through in spots there.
The engine turns over by hand and the plugs look good. The smog pump and air injectors are in place. Original type carb.
The wheels are 15 x 7 Alcoa's and...
