Well too bad its a 77. CA Smog laws are something else. But also, Ive never heard of Investment Grade US Spec. 🙄

If anyone calls on the ad, I'd be interested in the story. I'm always skeptical when a vehicle that is claimed to have extremely low miles has had a "Complete restoration" with 18K miles it shouldn't need much.

Shes a beauty though thats for sure.... Id second the low mileage reto... why the hell resto something under 20K miles.

Pretty sure Ive seen that one recently somewhere else. or at least the description but the pics were a green one i think. I remember zooming in to see what a low miles one looked like on a sketchy online post

I contacted the "seller" TOTAL SCAM. I was told, "...sorry for the late reply but I work for Weatherford Int. out of country and won't return until June..and have limited internet.....it is packed in a shipping container and ready to ship through a broker in Minnesota ..." It's the exact same email I received when I found an 80 series (that was in Maine. The scammer even sent other pics but never answered my questions directly. The CL ad is listed in Santa Cruz but map shows Livermore which is approx 2 hrs away and the pictures appear to be in Salinas Valley near Lagua Secca raceway.

I was so disappointed when I received the reply back. Back on the hunt for a smog-able 40!
I've tried flagging it on CL but it keeps reappearing. :(

I saw that one too. No response. I flagged it.

What’s the point of doing this, putting up a fake ad?

They collect phone numbers to push advertising via text to local shops. The latest in San Diego being dispensary shops. Craigslist got a little better when it charged a fee to sell vehicles, but not much. The first two giveaways are a ridiculous price and a background that does not match the area.
The third being nobody answers:bang:
