Hey everyone,
I recently installed a Dobinsons 2.5” lift on my 1997 LX450 and I’m looking for some advice.
The truck now has about a 1” driver-side lean when measuring hub to fender (LF 22”, RF 23”, LR 23⅜”, RR 24”). Id be ok with a lean closer to 1/2” but a full 1” lean is a little concerning to me especially with the right rear being a full 2” higher than the front left. Looking straight at the truck, the front bumper and body noticeably lean toward the driver’s side.
So far I’ve
Verified all coils are on the correct sides (LH/RH).
Verified all springs are properly seated.
Driven over 350 miles, including some off-road use.
Installed caster correction bushings.
I’d also like to bring the front up a bit to get rid of the “stink bug” look, so I was already considering 30 mm front spacers.
Has anyone experienced this with a Dobinsons lift? Is this just normal Toyota lean that’s more noticeable after lifting, or is there something else I should be looking at.
Thanks!
