1978 FJ40 Stock DD in Denver *Sold*Sold* 78 Toyota Land Cruiser. This FJ is a definite daily driver. Runs and drives perfect. There have been minimal mods to it. The mods are dual tanks, DUI ignition, Desmog, Weber, and a couple of KC lights. Everything on it works. The rest of the truck is all there even the original jack and the tool kit with all of the tools in it. The truck does have a few rust spots here and there. The floor boards intact as well as the rear bed. It drives and runs very nice. Quick starting as well. Transfer case has been rebuilt. Looking to possibly trade my two fjs for a nice 80 series lc/lx. Would have to be slightly modded with factory interior, arb bumper, roof rack etc with a proven history of maint and repairs. The fj40 is a 2 owner with fact pto working. Some rust recent carb rebuild. All original down to the Toyota floor mat. The 62 is my dd and recently has had front diff rebuild and reseal along with a host of other maintance done. Some rust on the remaining 3 doors but I have 3 fact replacements along with original rims. It has OME lift 3in and good procomp ATs. This is just a feeler to see what if any trades are out there. Located in central florida. Trucks have been florida trucks whole life.

This is my daily driver and was a mid-life crisis purchase and it's not fitting my needs anymore. I'm putting up for sale at loss. I would also be willing to trade it for a small/midsized pickup truck of similar value. It drives surprisingly well on the roads and freeways in spite of the heavy duty suspension upgrades. I have been driving between Macon and Atlanta the last several months on the freeway. It cruises nicely at 70mph at around 2,500 rpm. I've had it to 80+ with no issue. Here's what you get; The drive train is out of a Chevy S-10 pickup, including automatic transmission. Hello, This is a really nice virtually rust free FJ that has been in Oregon it's whole life. The floors have some scale on them but no holes through. There is just one other small spot behind the R door and some surface on the sill but that's it. Was told it has been this color for at least 25 years. Has all original drivetrain with 99K miles. Some of these were towed. Has the 3 speed trans. Interior is in really nice shape seats are not torn or ripped and headliner is nice. No jump seats. Runs and drives well. The brakes are soft. (billings mt). here is a short list, I know im missing some chevy 350, 700r4 auto overdrive, power steering, and brakes(disk up front), tilit, buket seats, 5 nearly new pro comp xmt, new 4" lift, greasable, poly bushings, mp3, amp, waterproof speakers, half door. SOLD! I started converting this 1971 FJ40 to Chevy running gear... but I cannot finish it. Has a partially installed GM 4.3L V6 (carb) with auto trans and t-case. Just started installing it so you could change back to FJ40 motor if you wanted? Missing stock steering column (was going to put GM one in) and missing drivers stock front seat. Also missing headlight bezel since I put it on my 1967. Otherwise pretty much there. Passenger fender needs replaced. Rear corner glass on the hard top needs new rubber. Asking: $850 with hard top $650 without - I have a few trailers so I can haul nearby for fuel costs if needed.
