1970 land cruiser fj40
Anyone looking for a straight crawler project? Ran into a dilemma with the title. As some of you know i acquired this from a family member. Been sitting for close to 20 years. Went to title it and didnt realize it's registered as a jeep. VIN matches both on the LC and title. But the make and model is jeep. Long story short. This family member is not willing to cooperate with me trying to get this title corrected. My plans to make it a street/crawler project has came to a hault. So im tired of dealing with it and want it gone. About the 40. 1970. Tub is pretty solid. Typical rust on rocker and rear. My plan was to fix it and armor it. Floors are solid. Fenders and hood are off but in good condition. Original drivetrain is gone. Will...

1981 FJ40 w/ Lots of Extras
Salt Lake City 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser on KSL.com What an amazing vehicle! I have owned it for 4 years, and am only selling it to fund my next adventure. I just don't use enough to warrant keeping it, so let it go to someone who will put it to better use! This was previously owned and built by one gentleman. He was an electrical engineer so the wiring on this thing is clean! This 40 runs great, is loaded with extras, and drives better than any FJ I've ever driven. You can cruise down the freeway and it tracks really well! It is incredibly capable off-road with front and rear locking diffs...it rolls over anything! I'm really torn selling it, but am looking to fund a new adventure, so this must go. The Important Stuff: - GM 383 V8...
1979 fj40 for sale
I bought this cruiser several years ago and it had an amateur body off "restoration" including a rebuilt engine, replacing missing nuts and bolts, new shocks, assorted suspension parts, new lines and hoses, temporarily serviceable home made paint job, etc. I towed it home just to be safe and did or had done the following: replaced all fluids drained and cleaned radiator tightened all front end and other nuts and bolts some of which were loose replaced incorrect carburetor with correct carb fixed exhaust leak replaced leaking right front brake cylinder some zerks were plugged with screws (i know, hard to believe) so i replaced screws with zerks correctly re-routed all vacuum lines which the "restorer" had seemed to have just attached in...

I have owned this landcruiser for about two years, and I have enjoyed working on it just as much as playing with it, if not more. I am an experienced fabricator and overall car guy, I have had many projects and this is one of them. All the work that I have done on it is off the outmost quality using the best parts available. Every mod that I’ve done has been meticulously researched to ensure reliability, function, and ease of maintenance in mind. I am asking $11,000, which is a very fair price once you consider the details below. Compared to other FJ40s up for sale with similar specs, this one stands out well above. FJ40 1975
inTesting the waters. Thinking of selling my 1975 FJ40, this was going to be a project, then was going to part it out. A local guy was going to buy it but didn't have the cash. I had posted it for parts but don't think I want to deal with work. I was thinking $2500 OBO. Don't need to sell just want. Tell me what you guys think.
Coming soon.....my 1977 FJ40
Hey folks, Hopefully soon, maybe before spring will be selling my 1977 FJ40. Thought I would post it here in case any members are looking and want to inquire before it hits Ebay, etc... Basically, I restored/refurbished it (depending on your definition) and while its not perfect I think it turned out great. It runs and drives excellent, has no issues that I can think of, and basically just needs to be enjoyed. Instead of writing pages and pages about the 40, just shoot me an email or send your number and we can talk about it. Here's some pictures.....Please all feedback welcome, positive or negative...if negative I'll fix it. Worst thing.....So far the fact that I don't have my top back from the painter. He has promised it by the...
*Sold* 1971 FJ40 and 1984 FJ60
FJ40: needs new floorboards, and to figure out why turn signals don't work. Runs, and drives, very close to being back on the road. Was stolen in 99, and I got it back, but without the hard top, doors, or emblems. Tons of parts to come with it. FJ60: about 75-80% done on a 2FE conversion, but I've hit a wall with stuff that I need help to complete it, and don't have the necessary help. OME at all four corners, ARB in rear diff. Bring a trailer, and 7k, and leave with them both. I'm open to trades for a Sprinter van long/tall, and don't be afraid to make offers. For 9k, you could take both of these, and my daily driver 60. Make the Land Cruiser community a happier, better place, and buy me out of it. Most anyone that knows...
1979 FJ40 Cruiser
Cruiser is located in Raleigh North Carolina THE UPFRONT: My name is Lucas, I am selling this Cruiser for a family friend/neighbor. He owns a landscaping business and works full time. He will be fully involved with the transaction and is available to communicate with any potential buyer. Paul (the owner) came to me mid 2015 entertaining the idea of selling his beloved 1979 FJ40 Land Cruiser. He knew it needed a little bit of attention so he brought it to me and asked if I would handle that and all inquiries. HISTORY: It is a 1979 FJ40 Land Cruiser. Restored by Cool Cruisers of Texas about 20 years ago. Paul purchased it from CCOT in 1996. I have all of the paper work from Cool Cruisers. The rig was restored at 79,000 miles. It now has...
