I hate to be listing this, and I hate to potentially sell it. But, putting this up here for now, to see if anyone is interested before I either source parts and repair head gasket myself, or drop a 3B in. At this point in the year, I honestly don't really have time to deal with this. so if someone wants to pick up now where I left off, fine. If not, then I'll get'er done myself.

1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40 F.5 4-Speed OEM PTO Winch
For sale is a nice FJ40 Land Cruiser. This is a great running Land Cruiser that has the original Toyota 2F engine that has been rebuilt. It also has the original 4-speed manual transmission. Power steering has been installed. It has the Old Man Emu 4" lift kit with Black Diamond Shocks and a Reverse Shackle System. It has front disk brakes and rear drums. It has a new Bestop soft top installed. It also includes a canvas bikini top. The underside and interior floor pan have been bed lined. There are no signs of rust throughout the entire cruiser. This is a solid running Cruiser that could easily be a daily driver. More pictures available upon request.

1973 FJ-40 FJ40 Land Cruiser Project Vehicle
From the pictures it looks like the truck has had a hard life - the paint job looks pretty quick-and-dirty with overspray everywhere, there's a half-done 6.0/NV4500 swap in place, and the interior looks like it needs a lot of attention too. Ad says something about water damage, not sure whether that's from the garage (he does say the garage is leaking on his project) or from some separate incident. Seller claims it was a pretty much rust-free truck from California, although the fresh cheap paint job means I would want to check that very carefully.
But if he's serious about the "best offer or the scrapper gets it" by...
i have 2 trucks one is rock solid in non running condition and the other is a parts truck. I have some other cars coming in so I need to make room! $9000 for the pair! please Message me for info.
Found this buried in the back of my in-laws garage. Gonna detail it up and help them sell. And yes they have the Bezal upside down. I'll fix LOL
They are 2nd owners, they had Roll cage installed and the restored floor is rhino lined for protection. They drove it over this morning. Send new pics tomorrow during cleaning for opinion. Thx
How is everyone doing? I have for sale a 1974 Toyota FJ 40 land Cruiser out of Mooresville, NC. It has a F155 straight 6 motor with a smooth 4 speed manual transmission. No sides or doors go along with this sale, it has a Bimini top over the roll bar. Everything is in great working condition blinkers, headlights, taillights, brake lights, and horn are all in working order. This FJ40 is a great candidate for someone looking to do a full restoration. I say this because the tub of the FJ has some rust issues over the rear fender wells where the roll bar bolts into the fenders. The floor pan on both the passenger and driver side has your typical FJ40 rust spots and issues. All the rust has been addressed along with restructuring the roll...

****NEW PRICE**** $18,000 obo. 1978 FJ40 purchased 3 years ago from California. All rust has been taken care of except for behind diamond plate, and that is a very small amount, not rusted through that I can tell. Will send video or photos to prospective buyers. Original 2F engine runs strong and is quick for a 40, will cruise at 70 on the interstate. Has headers and a Weber carb with automatic choke, fires up quick every time. Man-A-Fee bumper is very stout and useful. Tuffy locking center console. Aftermarket bluetooth stereo with amp under driver's seat (mounted high, not on floor). Tires are excellent condition, wheels are in great shape. New Warn hubs replaced old Selectro. New tie rod ends will be included but not installed...

In the early 80's, the FJ40 was stolen from the original owner and recovered shortly after. The thieves ground the VIN off the frame. The Nevada DMV re-etched the original VIN back in original position. The firewall VIN tag was also recovered and present. I checked with the NV DMV for potential issues registering/titling the FJ40, and they assured me there wouldn't be any problems. Feel free to...

Goodwrench Chevy 350 Four Bolt Main engine, Holley carb. 78K on the truck a lot less on the engine. The drivetrain is in excellent...
A great fair weather driver with mini-truck power steering conversion, a shackle reversal in the front, a great running desmogged 2F engine from later model fj60, and rebuilt carb. Odometer shows 89k. Unknown mileage on the engine but good compression across the board. All lights, gauges, wipers, front heater, etc. work except the horn. Recent 33x12.50 BFG A/T tires with little wear.
Front half of the truck has been rebuilt with many new OEM body components, nice paint, and bedliner undercoating on the fenders. Rear half of truck suffers rust through in many places but has been patched over with bright diamond plate exterior panels and some “less than show quality” tin, bondo, etc. inside.
Asking $10,900 without any top or front doors...
I have a 68 fj40 for sale, almost all original, I believe it has a later model f engine (1.5), 3 on the tree, and a few PO mods. I recently had the engine rebuilt, but needs a little more work as there is an oil leak coming from the timing chain cover, It has all new drum brakes purchased from toyota, but need to be adjusted and I broke a brake line so it currently has no brakes, also has new tires, and new OME suspension. There is rust, but nothing structural. It would need a new exhaust pipe, and also there is a lot of chatter when releasing the clutch in 1st gear. Need to sell ASAP, and I am willing to negotiate on the price. Asking $8000.
